making holes? I read in the reviews that the holes were drilled out for the halo lights and the picture looks like they are too, so as its "like factory" will you be able to pop in the raxiam one piece halo lights without cutting it up?

  • The Headlight Nose Panel is designed for the factory lights, so any lights that are designed with the factory mounting holes will fit.

Does the 94-98 headlight nose panel come with the bolts in order to mount it on my 'Stang? Replacing a 1996 Ford Mustangs headlight nose panel, wondering if I need to purchase some extra hardware in order to mount it.

  • No, I have used this item before. You will have to use the current hardware to install it.

    It was a Need

When I ordered this it was more of a need rather than a want. Just because my mustang needed the part. I expected something that was a bit heavier and stronger but after a while when i thought about it. Its better to have lighter body parts if you want to go faster. Anyways it works well with my mustang and no problems. Wish it would have came with all the bolts, nuts, and screws. I guess the money I spent on it was worth it. Because it was cheaper than anywhere else. Plus free shipping you couldnt beat that compared to other websites where i order a bumper and hood and I pay shipping money out the ads. I swear the shipping was more than the dang part on some websites. This wasn't everything I imagine it would be but then again its something i needed rather than a want.

    Great fit like a glove

Hey this fit my 1998 3.8 v6 mustang perfectly. Had to break the old one just to get it off the front bumper. I would recommend buying a bag of new trees I couldn't reuse any of my old ones.

    Headlight nose panel

I got in a wreck about 2 months ago. And I had been looking every where for one of these. And when I first got it I thought it would be the wrong part. It's great and the front of my pony is starting to look brand new.

    Excellent Replacement

Received this part not long after I ordered it. This is the first time I've replaced anything like this so I had a little learning curve to overcome and even so only took about 4 hours or so to install. If I had to do it again would be quicker. It fit perfect for me. The only thing I have to do is make the holes for the retainers for the headlight service flaps (or whatever you want to call them) a little bigger or possible see if I can get some smaller retainers. Great Product! Now I can mount the Pony I ordered if I can ever find some screws to do it with.

    Headlight nose panel

Just like the others have stated, this went in without a hitch, I bought some of those aftermarket headlights (cough raxiom cough trashiom) and damaged the nose peice in that install, bought new headlights fixtures with this replacement nose panel and wow, just perfect fit, right on the money. Install wasnt hard just needed a special tool hollow torx bit to remove the pony from old nose panel. Nose piece bolts to radiator housing with 8 bolts(4 per light). Front bumper is basically a snap-on along the front just underneath the light fixtures with two rivets just to the far top center of the lights where the bumper cover comes up along the inside of the lights. Use a electric drill with a bit to drill the head off of the rivet and use either a plastic retainer or what ever you choose to resecure the bumper to the panel. Thats it, nothing else special needed to replace or do.

Good piece for a great price

The Header panel fitment was 4/5 on my 98 Cobra. I had to shave a bit where the headlight adjusters go so that I wasn't jamming them in. Otherwise the rest fit pretty good right out of the box, and AM's price can't be beat for this item shipped.

    94-98 Headlight Bracket

The bracket was a near perfect match to the factory bracket. It was easy to install, and lined up well. The only issue that I had with it was that the holes for the self tapping security bolts holding on the Mustang emblem were slightly too big. I had to go and buy two small nuts and bolts in order to keep the emblem secure.

    Works with some Dremel muscle

Pros: Perfect fit, headlights now align properly (car was in a fender bender) Cons: The plastic for the adjuster prongs was too small on one side (had to drill it bigger), and too thick on a few of them (had to take a Dremel to it). One of them was so bad I couldn't even see the slots for the clip to slide in. Great part, adjusts headlights like it should, but it coulda been molded with more care.
