Looks great but I found that they did not screw onto the lock post as much as the stock. Seems like the thread is not the same. So far they are holding

    Great Addition

I am going for the "Bare Bones" look for the inside of my GT and these pins really help to sell the look and given the fact that my doors are bare metal, they needed a little bit of a shine; these did just that. A side note is they also make it easier to unlock the door given that they are relatively large (or at least larger than stock). The ONLY con is that the "piston" is so large that it prevents the lock rod from being able to go all the way down from the inside, but when I lock the door from the outside with the key, it "pulls" the rod down so it locks fine. The solution is to put a small nut on the rod under the pin so it doesn't screw down as far on the rod, but is still a tight fit.

    pidton door locks

As always the service was great from AM. but this is the first item I have bought that needed some revising to make work. I had to run a tap into the barrel to get more threads. As is they did not screw deep enough into door panel so as not to let the power locks work. Have to manually lock. but it is an easy fix with the tap and they look great.

    Piston look is very cool!

It sticks up above the sill a little too far for me. but still looks great!

    Invest in 10-32 tap first

They look great and match an old piston I turned into a shift knob. However as most people are saying these pins don't thread on fully. They only catch one or two threads before bottoming out. The pins are tapped for an 8-32 thread. Seems that New Edge 'Stangs use a 10-32 thread. After retapping them for the required 10-32 thread they fit much better.

    Stylish!

If you are tired of looking at your stock door lock pins then these are the way to go. They add bling to your ride and are cool to look at. I recommend this product if you like a shiny finish.

    Door Lock Pins

I was glad when they came in which didn't take long. These lock pins were pretty high quality in my perspective. They screwed right on giving that little extra character to my car.

    Buy better

Bought these because they were the cheapest set and I paid for it. Had to buy a 10/32 drill an tap set to install them. Threads were 8/32 and all mustanf lock rods are 10/32 thread.
