  • 48 inch #4 Gauge Wire

Handle More Power. The stock OEM wire from the alternator to the vehicle was not designed to carry the larger loads that high AMP replacement alternators produce. By installing this Premium Power Wire Upgrade Kit you will add the additional safe carrying capacity needed for lengths up to 4 feet.

Premium Wire. This kit is made from the highest quality #4 gauge wire, with increased number of strands, electrolytic copper and bundle wrapping to reduce the noise in high end sound systems. All this while still being incredibly flexible and sporting a show quality finish.

Fitment. The PA Performance Premium Power Wire Kit will work with your factory alternator, however, it is designed for use in 2005 to 2011 Mustangs with higher than stock AMP alternators.

    Cable too short

This cable is too short to be installed correctly following Ford's cable routing. The picture I uploaded shows how the cable is too short on the battery end to be properly install the fuse block to the firewall at the right of the battery. The installation instructions provided were for the wrong generation (older) of Mustang. I contacted PA Performance customer support and not only did they deny there was any problem with the cable, they couldn't even provide instructions on how to properly route the cable on a 2005 Mustang.

Not a bad item, but I did not want to remove the stock wire.So I left it off when I installed the new altenator.
