More Horsepower! The stock GT Mustang came with an awesome 412 Horsepower and 390 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installation a ProCharger-equipped 5.0L Mustang can make 600 or more horsepower at the flywheel. Thanks to the industry’s coolest charge air temperatures, the unmatched power gains are delivered with maximum reliability and everyday drivability.

High Capacity Intercooler. If you have the desire to continue modding your Mustang even after adding a ProCharger Supercharger, then this is the kit for you. The air-to-air intercooler included with the Stage II Kit has a higher capacity than the High Output (HO) Kit. This Stage II kit will accommodate additional modifications as you continue to transform your Mustang into the highest horsepower beast possible.

Complete Kit. The ProCharger Stage II Intercooled System comes complete and includes ProCharger self-contained supercharger, air-to-air intercooler, 52 lb/hr fuel injectors, intercooler tubing, brackets, fabricated coolant tank, specially-designed radiator fan shroud assembly, ProFlow bypass valve and a computer programmer.

Application. This ProCharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger System is specifically designed for use on the 2011 to 2014 GT Mustang equipped with the 4V 5.0L Coyote engine.

Technical Note. Minor trimming to the interior of the stock front bumper cover is required to accommodate the larger front mounted air-to-air intercooler.

Ask a Question

With a stock 2014 Mustang gt/cs will the strut tower brace fit with all hardware installed or will I need to buy a new tower brace?

Bill

  • The Procharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger System should work with any strut tower brace, as only the intake is routed under the brace, however, any extremely low braces may touch the intake tube.

I'm sure this system will work and fit but with a cobra jet intake manifold, is there a kit available or a known aftermarket piping to fit? or will mad skills of fabrication be needed?

BeanNrice

  • The Procharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger System is designed to work with the stock manifold as the Cobra Jet Intake Manifold sits slightly higher then the OE manifold. With the fabrication of an elbow by the throttle body, the intake manifold should not be hard to hook up. Depending on the total distance from the charge pipe to the throttle body, you may be able to sure use a coupler with a bend.

I have a 2012 gt m/t , can the internals handle this amount of pressure ? I was told by a co worker how is a former bmw master tech that I need forged internals or the motor will not last. is this true for my stock 5.0?

Srsprings2012gt

  • The Procharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger System (11-14 GT) will be a complete kit coming with everything you would need to bolt this on your car safely.

Can Bama Tune This Item? I have a sct sf3/x3 tuner and want to buy this item but I want to keep my bama tune for my existing mods like my bbk cat deletes etc

TattedJesse

  • For the addition of this supercharger it is not something that Bama would be offering mail order tunes for. The kit should be coming with a tune for the supercharger but if there are additional modifications beside the supercharger then you would want to contact your local dyno shop for the tuning to be done.

Procharger Stage II for 2014 Mustang GT

Amazing drive ability as a daily driver and lots of pull in mid to upper RPM range. Well thought out and documented instructions but plan on spending a bulk of time on getting air ducts just right. When time allows will cut some of the ducts further. Ford strut tower fit just fine and no trimming of bumper at all required even though some people say they had to do - maybe they meant the ducts.

Nothing better then bolting this bad boy on in a weekend with some friends and then feeling the difference right away! You can hear this thing scream and the purge valve lets you hear the air while ripping down the road! Fit was perfect and not to hard to install pretty straight forward on the stage 2 kit you will have to cut your splash gaurds even tho it says no cutting required.. Only issue I've had was a few hiccups wih the provided tune but pro gather is taking care of it 100 will def recommend again and again!!!

180 hp that bolts on in a weekend, can't beat it.

I couldn't decide whether I wanted the stage one or stage two kit but I went with this one because I wanted more power with a bigger intercooler. Let me tell you, that intercooler is huge. I bolted everything on all by myself in a weekend. The car looks and runs great now with way more power! It was a little difficult to do by myself so I recommend a extra set of hands. I have the gt/cs lower facia in the front and I had to hack it to pieces to make it fit. The complete structure of the facia is gone to make it fit. The plastic piece under the car also had to be cut to clear the tubing. Overall great product though!

    Awesome.

With the canned tune at 5k feet elevation made 475 rwhp and 500 tuned. Same shop was able to get 565 rwhp at this elevation with a smaller pulley. Pushing 8psi consistently. The mail tune does not effect much drivability and mpg was great. I have SOS ignition coils and that's it with this tune. I recommend if your looking for drivability and an extra 100 hp this kit and mail tune is great. Keep in mind the order goes direct to procharger. Good company, but wish Americanmuscle would do their own tunes for this kit and any supercharger kit but understand why they dont. Best purchase for my car.

    Insane power

This procharger stage 2 system is incredible on my 2012 Mustang GT. The power comes in at 2500 rpm's and pulls extremely hard to the red line. All this power with a 91 octane tune on the SCT tuner that came with the Procharger kit. I am truly glad (extremely happy) that I went with this procharger kit from American Muscle. If you want drivability and power you cannot go wrong with this kit.

    More Power

I installed the stage 2 kit with a D1SC upgrade and have been running it for the past 2 years. As with any type of forced induction, it will totally transform your car. Install was easy, just follow the instructions, and follow them exactly. If the procharger manual recommends you do something a certain way do it. There were a few steps that I tried to do differently and those were the only issues I ran into installing it. As far as tuning I went with a lund tune and couldn't be more happy. Just know when ordering this kit be prepared for suspension modifications and new tires so you can actually hook when you get on the gas. The only potential negative about this kit is the air intake location. For a street and strip mustang it shouldn't be an issue, but for someone wanting to road course their car I would recommend another kit that reuses the factory cold air location.
