RAM Clutches Powergrip HD 650HP Metallic Clutch Kit; 10-Spline (05-10 Mustang GT)

RAM Powergrip HD clutch kits are the ultimate kit for extreme street and track performance. This race inspired clutch kit will provide more clamping pressure over a stock unit and can handle power levels up to 650 hp. All Powergrip HD kits feature an increased clamp load pressure plate, providing crisp clutch engagement with only a slight increase in pedal effort. The Powergrip HD clutch disc features RAM’s premium 900 series metallic facing material on both sides. This allows the Powergrip HD unit to deliver maximum grip in an extreme high horsepower street or racetrack application. The RAM Powergrip discs also utilize an 8-spring hub to maximize disc strength and durability. Powergrip HD kits are also a great choice for LS/LT, Coyote, or Hemi engine swaps as well as Tremec Transmission swaps.  All kits include the pressure plate, clutch disc, alignment tool, and release bearing where applicable.  When only the best will do, choose RAM!

It's recommended that you add an SR Performance Braided Stainless Steel Hydraulic Clutch Line during your new clutch install. Stock plastic clutch lines can fail during aggressive driving. Stainless steel clutch lines help prevent gear lockout and provide superior clutch pedal feel, even under the toughest conditions.

Technical Note. The 2005+ Mustang uses a concentric slave cylinder instead of a conventional throwout bearing. Therefore this clutch kit will not include a throwout bearing. Use only with RAM billet steel or factory nodular iron (explosion resistant) flywheels, and it is recommended to install a new flywheel with this replacement clutch for the 2005+ Mustang GT's.
