Will this fit a 2009 GT? I installed the sequential lights in my 2009 Mustang GT convertible and absolutely love them, however, I do think they blink too fast and would like to slow the pattern down. Is this product usable in my car?

  • No this won't work unless you rewire everything. You have so called "LCM" light control module which controls all of youre light, like the interior and exterior.

    Easy Installastion

Easy installation, easy to locate rely if you turn your blinker on and lie on your back under the steering wheel and the relay is located to the left hand side in a bright YELLOW box. When I say box its the same size as the rely itself. Then pull gently the yellow box towards you and it will slid off the bracket that holds it in place. Then just disconnect and put then the Raxiom flasher in its place. You will not be able to get the other stock rely out of the yellow box but if you slide the clip that held the yellow box over the bracket it will hold the new one in place. I have a 2003 V6 mustang and it was simple just uncomfortable position and tight place to work to remove the stock rely.

For those of you who own 94-95 models and are hesitant about it. Worry no more it fits! Not perfectly but it does, It wont fit all the way, and the opposite side wont fit around the outlet. But it still works great. Also, if you dont know where the flasher relay is its right behind the fuse box under the steering wheel, it should be a yellow plug mounted on a metal piece, that slides right off.

this product did not slow the flash rate enough to be worth 50.00

I did not notice a considerable difference in the flash rate vs the stock flasher they need to slow it down to the speed of the newer models

slow blink almost the same seq speed

I was hoping to slow the frantic nature of the plug in kit. The Video on the site made me think these would do the trick. As far as I can tell though all it does is slow the blinker down front and rear. Blinks are longer and the delay between blinks is longer. But the speed of the sequence is about the same. It does seem less frantic, but does not match the pace of the 2012 mustangs like I was hoping.

    slower but not slow enough

OK product. Doesnt have a clip to clip back on to the bracket where the old one was so I taped it to the bracket. Also I would have liked it to be a slower flash than it turned out to be, mine is slightly faster than the one in the video. It is much better than the super fast stock relay, but it would look a lot better if it slowed it down more to the speed of the newer sequentials.

    Easy Brezzy

It only took 15 min. For those that don't know, i use a slotted screwdriver to pop out the old one out of the yellow box. Then put the Raxion one in the yellow box. It doesn't fit all the way in, but just enough to hold it. Sweet!!!

Raxion Flasher for Sequential Tail Lights

Functionally this flasher is terrific. It slows the flash rate down just enough to let the tail lights "step". The down-side is that you need to destroy the old flasher relay in order to mount this new one. Mind you, the process is not difficult and can be done with a pair of long nose pliers and a utility knife (or small file). The yellow housing from the old flasher relay has the mounting tangs molded into its case (the Raxiom relay doesn't) so to mount the Raxiom relay, one needs to pull the old relay out of its housing and remove the holding tabs INSIDE the yellow housing. Once removed, the entire Raxiom relay easily slips inside the yellow housing so it can be mounted. As I said it is not difficult, only a bit of a bother. Overall, well worth the purchase!

    Raxiom Modified Turn Signal Flasher

It does work but I think it is still to fast for me, needs to be alittle slower. Has for the fit, it does not fit back in old flasher spot. So it just hangs under the dash.

    • Response from AmericanMuscle

Sorry to hear this modifier didn't slow the sequence to your liking. However, you can secure the flasher with a zip tie, 3M tape or simply reuse the clip from the original box and it should stay in place! Please give us a call if you have any questions!

    Easy Install with Big Results

This was such a simple install with such a big result. The sequence was always so fast in my turn signals. I needed a way to slow down the flashing. This was a simple answer. I pulled out the old relay and put this in. This will make the the sequential tails much more pronounced and able to be seen. The install is easier then changing a light bulb.
