Spoiler would be nice with paint.

Love the look of the new spoiler on the car. Fits great. What would make it perfect would be if it came pre-painted so I didn't have to take it to a body shop for paint and install.

Ask a Question

How does this spoiler attach? It looks like it has double sided 3M tape on the bottom but also appears to have holes for drilling attachment. Will work with just the double sided 3M tape?

PatForg

  • 3M tape is very strong, but it will not keep this on your car without the hardware to help hold it in place.

Will this cover the holes from the GT/CS (California Special) Spoiler? I currently have the GT/CS (California Special) Spoiler on my 2012 GT. Will this spoiler cover all of the holes from the California Special spoiler?

Toods

  • No, this wont go deep enough onto your trunk to cover the holes from your own CS spoiler.

Does this come unpainted in black or unpainted in white? Wondering if it could be mounted without painting for a matte look. Thanks.

    Can't tell its aftermarket

I bought a base 2012 V6 coupe for the purpose of auto cross racing. After some modifications I found out that the car gets some lift on the rear end over 100mph and the addition of this spoiler helps. Over quality and appearance is very good and the fit is excellent. Can't even tell it's not OEM. I'm very happy with this product and with A.M.

Good OEM spoiler for the price!

Just be shure your prep is well done before the paint job. There is some little waves in the plastic but not that much. You may not see it if the paint job is perfect or if it is a mate color. For the reste it lokes real good!

    unpainted spoiler

spoiler looks great after was painted at my shop. I was disappointed there was no templates to assist in mounting, I had to cut my own to get the correct location for mounting. I still don't get what the for card broad things were for, no instruction for mounting

    Simple and looks great!

For it's price it makes the car look great. Painted it black and looks great with my white mustang. Paint job and installation cost me $100 and one day of work just for the paint to dry. Overall I highly recommend this product.

    Rear OE style spoiler

Good fit and finish. Installed by a local body shop and they had no complaints. "Installed just like a factory part" I believe was said. I had it painted black for a silver car. Looks great!

This product adds to your car

This product looks amazing on my car. It looks as if it came standard. The fit is great, the paint job took realy really well. I cannot tell that this was ordered after market. The construction of the spolier is great, it looks and feels like the spolier on my other car. Would recommend this product and this company to anyone in the market for parts for thier mustang.

Good fit and quality. It most certainly needs a template w/product and pre-painted. AM has several painted modify parts, why not this OE part?
