Please Just offer a replacement Dipstick

This thing was an awkward pain to install. I'm not a fan of modifying the dipstick like that it seems cheap to me. Don't get me wrong it looks nice once done but it just didn't want to cooperate with me.

    Chrome Oil Dipstick Handle

This Chrome Oil Dipstick Handle from AmericanMuscle is a really great product. It was fairly priced and looks great under the hood of my 2014 Mustang with all the other chrome items that I have purchased from AmericanMuscle. The installation instructions were very simple to follow. I'm sure I will get many years of service from this item as the Quality is Great. Thanks A/M for another quality deal. PaPa

Looks great and was a relatively easy install

This product livens up the under-hood. The install was painless except for my own error in choosing a smaller than recommended drill bit for the oil dipstick handle. Once I realized my mistake everything was completely painless. Love it.

    Awkward Drilling, but worth it

I used a dremel to cut off the ring. Then drilled the 5/32 hole. Had to spend some extra time filing down the hole, but eventually got it to work. Looks GREAT!

    Nice dress up touch

Good instructions, easy install. Wasn't sure it would be a solid fit, but after making the initial cut and drilling the hole and with a few minor additional trimmings and drilling a larger hole, it all came together. Make sure you place the dip in correctly with the oil levels marks up. You want it to say OIL, not 710 as my grandson was heard saying.

This product really stands out when you open the hood.

This product really stands out when you open up the hood. The red lettering on the handle was a plus for me being my pony is red. I bought the dress up kit, when I purchased this so I was extremely happy with everything. I'm a attention to detail enthusiasts, so when I installed the kit it really made the engine compartment look nice. Installation took 10 min, and I would highly recommend for any Mustang.

    This was a close fit.

The reason I bought this dipstick handle was because no one in the after market supports the 2012-2014 Ford Focus in almost all areas. I scoured the web for engine dress up items with almost no success. This particular dipstick handle has a screw that is too long and needs to be shortened in order for the two halves to close up tight and still not have the ends of the screw sticking out. If the Focus has an engine cover, the handle is a little too wide. The plastic stock handle was relatively easy to modify.

    Chrome upgrade

Small price to pay for a great look for under the hood. The hardest part was carving the original plastic oil stick ring handle to fit inside the chrome handle slot. Drilling through to anchor it was fairly easy.

Be careful when trimming and drilling out the original dip stick but it looks and performs great!

Nice dip stick cover just use caution so you don't damage the original dip stick....

Non Mustang owners were surprised that this type of hardware existed. Made nice impression at my last car show.

Much Better than Stock Loop Handle

ok, I hacksawed top part of my stock loop. Once you cut top part of loop it is easy to drill hole and put this together. Sturdy and I love the look of it. Highly recommend this.

Easy, if you can find your tools!

The tools I needed to make it an easy installation had been borrowed by my son's. Had to do it the hard way cutting with a coping saw. Oh well--Got it together and it looks great.
