Tony C Oxford White '92 LX

My current Mustang, a 1992 LX 5.0 is only my second, but I have owned it for 19 years. One of the things I hated about my '88 was the ugly two-tone interior was, it was gray and black with a pattern on the seats that looked like a cheesy suit. So anyway, I had seen this Mustang at the Ford dealer in May 1994 and was interested because I think it was one of the first white ones that I had seen and the only reason I had not done to look at it closer was that fact that I was sure it would have the ugly interior like my first one. So, I was very pleasantly surprised to see an all-black interior and factory sunroof.

I have been a car nut since I was just a kid. When I was about 4 or 5 years old, I could tell all the cars by their tail lights or hubcaps. In fact that was how my folks found out I needed glasses, they had to get closer to the car for me to tell what it was. Growing up in the Detroit area I used to see a lot of cars before they were actually in production, while they were being driven around the area for testing purposes. I would always help my dad when he was working on the family cars. My first car was a 1967 Olds Cutlass and for the most part I was a GM until I found out that that the only performance car I could afford was a 1988 Mustang LX 5.0 and I have been a fan since. I did basic bolt-ons and that was about it and I ended up selling that car to my sister. Other than cars I a also ride motorcycles, currently Honda Valkyrie and enjoy a cigar on occasion.
