Features
  • Eliminates Annoying Dash Light
  • Easily Switch Between Winter and Summer Rims.
  • Includes 4 TPMS Sensors and Syncing Tool.
  • Designed for All 2010-2014 Mustangs.
Description
Turns Off Dash Light. Your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts you when the pressure drops to an unsafe limit. This a great safety feature, but if you plan on upgrading to a new set of rims you will need to install new sensors in your new wheels, if not you will have an annoying dash light constantly reminding you that your sensors are missing. This TPMS Full Mounting/Balancing Kit makes it possible to install new sensors into your new rims and sync them to your cars computer - eliminating that annoying dash light.

TPMS Transmitter Tool. The TPMS Transmitter is used to sync the new sensors to your cars computer after you have installed them onto your Mustang. You simply point the transmitter at the wheel listen for the cars horn and move to the next tire. Watch our video explaining the whole process.

Kit Contents. This TPMS Kit comes complete for use on four wheels and includes 4 Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensors and 1 TPMS Transmitter Tool. This kit makes it easy to switch between your stock rims and aftermarket rims at will. The TPMS Transmitter Tool can be purchased separately if you already have your sensors.

Important Tire Rotation Note. When rotating tires that are equipped with TPMS sensors it is important to reuse the TPMS Transmitter Tool to recalibrate the sensors. By rotating your tires you are changing the physical location of the sensors and your cars computer will need to update to be aware of this location change. Failure to do so will result in inaccurate and incorrect low tire pressure monitoring.

Will these sensors work at Ford? If I get these sensors, will Ford be able to sync the sensors with my car?

  • Shouldn't be a problem. I think they are a Ford product. I know that the sensing tool that came with the kit was Motorcraft which is a Ford brand.

Work on 20 inch Foose wheels? Hey All! I just bought my 2010 GT and it came with awesome wheels, but bad tires. I'm going to get new tires and I thought at the same time get the TPMS. I would assume that this product would work for me, right? I would need them installed when the tire place is mounting and balancing my tires. So I guess I would buy these, and when I go to get my new tires, give the shop the TPMS equipment and they will install them for me? Thanks for your help!

Kuppster

  • 100% correct! You'd want to take this kit with you to the tire shop when you get them mounted/balanced. They will fit your Foose Wheels with no problems! Hope this helps!

    Second time is a charm!!

I originally purchased the TPMS mounting kit when I ordered my AMR rims and tires. The TPMS sensors where installed by AM and the tires and rims balanced and rotated before being shipped out. I received the tires and rims and followed the synching instructions provided on the DVD. I attempted to synch the sensors several times with no luck. I called AM and was told that the sensors where in "sleep mode" and I had to deflate the tires (good bye hydrogen) and re-inflate the tires to activate the sensors. Again, no luck!! I then deployed (I am active duty Air Force) for about a year and was not able to fix the problem before I left. When I returned I contacted AM again about the issue. Apparently from what I was told they received a shipment of "bad" sensors and that I may have received a bad set of sensors. After talking to AM about the situation they agreed to mail out a set of new sensors but I had to cover the cost of having them installed ($55.00) and I had to mail back the old set within 30 days. Long story short, I eventually got the sensors installed and synched up to the car and FINALLY got rid of that annoying low tire pressure light!!!

    Defective Transmitter

I tried to "train" my sensors in my tires and the provided transmitter is defective… So now I have to get everything taken care of in a shop and spend MORE MONEY :(

    TPMS full mount/bal kit

Directions were easy to follow, product appearance and fit was exactly as shown. I had no problem at all calibrating after install. So far my experience with American Muscle has been great.

I almost did not buy this as I was going to have a shop or dealer change my tries each season, but decided I might want to at some point and would need it... As soon as I got my wheels and tires I had to put them on and needed this tool. Worked great and just like the DVD states. If you plan on changing your wheels and tires for the seasons... you need this and it works well. Get it.

    Worth it!

I was getting a bit frustrated with activating these sensors. The video helped , but lacked much needed information. I call tech support and was told to disconnect the battery, all this did was cause me to have to reset the stereo. I waited a few days driving with the TPMS light on. No issues. Then called again, the second guy said the were in "sleep mode" from shipping. So to wake up the sensors we had to deflate all 4 tires then inflate them. I did this at a tire shop I used to work at, and they didn't think it would work. Well it did. I was able to do what the showed in the video all in about 40 seconds. So my advice is deflate the tires and inflate them then put them on the car.

could not get the tool to work

Could not get the sync tool to sync the sensors. Took it to a ford dealer they could not get it to sync either. American M uscle refunded my money so I thank them for that.

    Nice Product

They worked well after I deflated all the tires and then inflated the tires to proper air pressure. Took less than a minute to sync all 4 tires.

TPMS mounting/balancing kit for 10-12 mustangs is great!

I purchased a new set of wheels and tires for my 10' mustang, but i wanted to keep my stock wheels and tires for future changes. My local performance dealer wanted $350 for the cheapest tpms sensors they could find for my car! AM had an incredible price and the supplied instructional video was so easy it made installation a breeze! Took about three days till they arrived on my doorstep and only took a matter of minutes to install. I would recommend these sensors and programming tool to anyone who needs tpms sensors on their 10-12 stang.
