Tuner Kit. For your daily driver or racer, the Vortech V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit in a Satin finish provides the opportunity to boost performance with the one kit. This comprehensive package, which is nearly silent, includes everything you need for the supercharger upgrade, from the V-3 compressor to the mounting bracket and drive belt. Sizeable gains in horsepower (from 260 to 364) and torque increases from 302 to 371 lb./ft. await you!
Aluminum Construction. This is a high-output system features a V-3 gear driven, centrifugal-style compressor with satin finish and internal lubrication (Si). Vortech's Supercharger Tuner Kit has an efficient, lightweight aluminum impeller made using leading technology and an innovative maintenance-free housing design. The compressor operates without surge issues, thanks to its maximum-flow bypass valve.
In the Professional's Hands. The installation of this V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit is best done by a pro. A mechanic or service provider can upgrade your rig with this powerful system over a 12-hour span. The system attaches securely to your Mustang GT using the kit's OEM-type aluminum bracket and hardware. Custom tuning is necessary; there is no ECM program software in the kit. For a fuel system upgrade, ask the mechanic to do so during installation (not part of the kit).
3 Year Warranty. Vortech warrants this V-3 Si-Trim Tuner Kit for 3 years under certain conditions. For details, please read the manufacturer's warranty.
Tuner Kit. Tuner Kits include the Supercharger Head Unit, piping, mounting bracketry and parts required for basic installation. Tuner Kits do not include fuel components, electronic components, programmer or calibration. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation.
Application. The Vortech V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit in a Satin finish is made for 1999 Mustang GTs. NOTE: This system is not CARB compliant.
