Hey guys, Stephanie with americanmuscle.com, and I'm checking out a commonly overlooked way of totally changing your Mustang's appearance and stance. I'm going to be taking a closer look at these Hubcentric Wheel Spacers, one and one and a half inch, that will work on all 1994 to 2014 Mustangs. Wheels and how they fit your Mustang can make a huge difference in the car's overall appearance. You have to find a style that you like with the back spacing and offset combination that will give you the fitment that you're looking for. The fitment of the wheel is one of the factors that will play into the overall stance and look of the car, which is why these details are important. These spacers are designed to give your car that final visual touch by pushing your wheels out towards the body of the car and taking away that tucked in look that we all hate. The spacers come in either an inch or an inch and a half. With the right spacers installed, your Mustang will take on a more aggressive look with the wheels and tires filling the wheel wells exactly as they should. Both of the spacers have a hub centered design, meaning that the center of the wheel hub will line up exactly to the diameter of the axle hub. This provides a perfect and secure fit. The wheel spacers are also CNC machined from billet aluminum, giving them the strength and durability to last a lifetime. And they come ready to install with both studs and lug nuts. As far as the install goes, the most difficult part will be taking off each of your wheels and making sure that you have a clean surface to work with. Basically, once you have the wheel hub in front of you, you wanna make sure that it's as clean as possible. And this means dirt and rust free, because you want as tight of a fit as possible between the hub and the wheel spacer. If you're lucky enough to be putting the spacers on with new rotors, then this step will be easy since you already have a nice clean surface. If not, you can always use some light sandpaper and a rag to clean the surface. After that, you're ready for the spacers. And if you guys have any questions about the wheel spacers, or you wonder what size you should get, or maybe you have a question about the install, you know that you can always reach out to one of our many Mustang experts for assistance. Remember, there are also install guides on the product pages for your reference as well. So, if you're looking for a way to fill out your wheel wells and really get a nice wheel fitment for your Mustang, you should check out these Hubcentric Wheel Spacer options for your 94 to 2014 Mustang available here at americanmuscle.com.

Intimidating Muscular Stance. A set of Billet Aluminum Hub centric Wheel Spacers will set your rear wheels out an additional 1" (25.4mm) giving your 1994-2014 Mustang more intimidating muscular stance getting rid of that wimpy tucked in commuter car look increasing your Pony's "wow" factor.

Solid, Durable Construction. CNC-Machined out of a solid block of billet aluminum for superior strength and durability, these Mustang wheel spacers will last a lifetime.

Hub centric Design. These Billet Aluminum Wheel Spacers use a Hub Centric design, meaning that the center of the wheel hub lines up exactly to the diameter of the axle hub, giving you a perfect secure fit.

Designed For Aftermarket Wheels. These Billet Aluminum 1" wheel spacers are designed fit all 1994 to 2014 Mustangs equipped with 5 lug 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm) aftermarket wheels and will also fit 1987-1993 Mustangs with 5-lug conversion kits and aftermarket wheels installed.

Spacer lug nuts are included, requires the use of original lug nuts for wheel installation.

Note: will not fit factory wheels

Hello, I have a 2014 Mustang GT with the appearance package 19" wheels. Will these spacers fit with those wheels?

  • Hello! The Billet Aluminum Hubcentric Wheel Spacers - 1 in. will fit just fine with your 19" wheels.

My 98 has stock wheels i dont understand why these wouldn't work, i would rather not spend the extra $40 for the 1.5"

  • Hello! On The 1 inch Billet Aluminum Hubcentric Wheel Spacers the factory lugs stick out further than the lugs on the spacer. Since the mounting surface on factory wheels is flat, the factory stud will make contact the wheel hub before it touches the new spacer.

Hi. Can spacers be used on the front too? If not these what about the other spacers that y'all sell for the front?

  • Hi, Bolt on wheel spacers should only be used on the rear we do carry slip on spacers that can be used on the front Wheel & Brake Spacers - 3/16 in. Item# 76162 and Wheel & Brake Spacers - 5/16 in. Item# 29910. Here are the links http://www.americanmuscle.com/wheel-spacer-316in-9412.html http://www.americanmuscle.com/14in-wheelspacer-pair.html

Hello, I currently have the stock Mustang wheels on all four corners of my car. (P245/45ZR/17). The back two wheels on my car are inset so far, just does not look right. Will the 1" Hub centric wheel spacers work on my car...and will I need to alter the factory stud 5 studs because of length to accommodate this up grade or do I need the 1.5" spacers for with out stud modifications? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Dave

  • The 1 inch wheel spacers would not work on your stock wheels because the studs stick out further than the spacer itself. They would work on aftermarket wheels because they have reliefs so the studs do not hit the wheels. So you would need to either go with the 1.5" spacers or aftermarket wheels.

I was wondering the if the thread pitch it the same as stock on my 2000 v6 i belive there 1/2 -20 or something like that?

  • The thread pitch on these Billet Aluminum Hubcentric Wheel Spacers will be the same as the stock thread pitch on the wheel studs.

I have Cobra style 18x10 on the rears. Should I use an 1 in or 1.5 inch spacer?

  • Depending on the offset of the Cobra Style wheel being used you may be limited to the size of the spacer your vehicle can use. We would highly recommend measuring the distance from the closest point of the wheel to the closest point on the fender to ensure there is sufficient room.

    1" Spacers - 2007 White Mustang GT

Doing a little research, reading other reviews... I found out that I might need spacers (hubcentric to be specific) for the caliper covers that I also purchased on AM to make sure my covers did not scrap my wheels. I also did not want to buy larger wheels to get the aggressive Stang stance. Well, the spacers are one of the best inventions. The spacers were not only functional but they gave my Stang the power look I wanted. Knockout two issues with one solution! 1" spacers are the way to go regardless if you have caliper covers or not! Billet Wheel Adapters

The wheel adapters arrived well packaged and I had them installed in about 20 minutes. I have a 2007 Mustang with the 17" aluminum wheels. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the aluminum wheels have a space in the back that accommodates the studs sticking out of the hub. I didn't have to cut the original studs which was great news for me. I like the look of the Stang now that the wheels stick out a little past the fender wells. I bought the 1" adapters but maybe should have bought the 1.5" adapters.

    Absolutely Amazing

These wheel spacers will really give your ride a great look without the expense of buying new wheels. Installation is not bad at all and the result is well worth it. The aggressive stance these spacers give are very worthy the money.

Tires were balder than my dad, therefore I needed new ones, went ahead and threw some 1" wheel spacers in with my new 275 Sumitomo tires, my stance is epic.

Nice, tasteful Mod for the money

Works on factory bullet wheels, Although factory studs extend beyond spacer, the studs fit nicely in the recesses on the inside of bullet wheel.

    Wheel spacers

Easy to install, fit well, improves appearance of the car, brings the rear wheels out to where they should have been to begin with. The only change I would make is to include the torque specifications for the spacers.

Love the Look, Read the Fine Print

Just got these recently and attempted to install... Unfortunately in my excitement upon finding these spacers I overlooked an important part in the description. "Designed for aftermarket wheels" "Does not fit stock wheels" Found out why upon installation. The stock rims on my '04 Mustang V6 will not sit flush against the spacer. The original studs protrude out of the spacer enough to 'raise' the wheel away from the spacer causing an un-flush mount. Besides my overeagerness getting ahead of me this is a great product, has a solid build, and gives a mean appearance over stock. Will definitely keep in my inventory for when I get some new shoes for my horse!

    Big Difference

I was very pleased with this purchase for my 2011 GT with the premium 19" wheels. I really liked my stock premium wheels, but couldn't stand that they were tucked inside the wheel well, and felt they would look much better flush with the well. Install was simple, and instantly changed the appearance of my lowered GT. I highly recommend re-tightening the lugs after 100 miles. I now have aftermarket wheels with the proper offset, and gave the spacers to a friend, he is also very happy with them.

Perfect stance for stock wheels on SN-95 Mustangs

I agree with Kyle, the 1" spacer is perfect for 94-98 ponies. It bumps your wheels out enough too look mean but not too much. Doesn't look cheap or "ghetto" at all. Don't second guess yourself. Save a little money and buy yourself these spacers. As always, AM buying experience is amazing. Thanks AM!

    Mr Cullison

A must have.. I have done few things to my Mustang, but this is easy to install, or go to any tire shop (around $5 each to install). The spacers will give you the muscle car look that you have been wanting. I have a 1999 Mustang GT Conv. I went with the 1 inch. The 1 in. is the right size for the person wanting a good look without the tires sticking out of the fenders. I hope this helps..

    Just What I Needed

I bought the 1" spacers to use on a highly modified 1968 Mustang front wheel with 2000 Cobra front suspension. They look great and provided the perfect offset and caliper clearance I needed. Got the parts quickly and they are top quality. Would recommend this company to others!

    good looks

I have 20" rim with 305/30/20. I thought that they would fill the entire rear wheel wells. However they were very close to the inside of the wheel wells and that made them look sucked into the wheel well. With the addition of my new 1" wheel spacers, I now have that true staggered look.

    Perfect spacing for 94-98 guys

1" is all us 94-98 guys need to get even with the front wheels, but not stick out so much that the fender cuts up your tires on big bumps. Did not have to cut my stock studs with my 99/01 Cobra wheels. They're 17x8's with 255 series tires and they do not look "ghetto" or "too skinny" by any means. Very tasteful and high quality mod.
