2005 & Up Mustang Billet Grille Installation Guide
The below installation instructions work for the following products:
Here at American Muscle, we're all about DIY (do it yourself). Of course, there's nothing wrong with seeking out a little bit of tech help prior to taking on an installation on your own. Our Mustang installation guides will provide valuable instructions and hopefully answer any how-to questions that you may have along the way.
(Right Click, Save Target As)- Open the hood of the car.
- On original grille there is 1 plastic clip on the right and 1 on the left release these clips.
- Remove the bolts and mounting plates from the bag kit.
- Place the grille insert over the grille making sure that it is centered on the vehicle.
- Reach between the grille and radiator and reinstall the bolts, plates and nuts onto the grille insert by using a 7/16 open-ended ratchet.
- Check to make sure the grille is properly in place and tighten the bolts just enough to hold the grille in place. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN as this may cause the grille to crack.
- Push original grille back into place with the plastic clips clicking in.
- Close the hood and enjoy the look of your new Mustang Grill!
