Improved Braking. J&M Products Stainless Steel/Teflon-lined braided hoses provide better performance than the stock rubber hoses. These direct replacement D.O.T. certified rear hose assemblies provide much quicker braking response, firmer pedal feel, and better brake modulation than the original factory hoses.

Additional Safety. Stainless Steel Teflon Brake Hoses not only improve your braking performance, but they also provide additional safety over the factory rubber hoses that can fail or split under extended track use.

Better than OEM Quality. Every J&M hose is tested to 3000 psi to guarantee a leak free hose assembly. And best of all these hoses are made right here in the USA.

Application. This set of two J&M Stainless Steel Teflon Rear Brake Hoses are specifically designed to be a direct fit OEM replacement for the 2005-2014 V6, GT and Bullitt Mustangs and 2007-2012 GT500s with the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). Does not fit the 2013-2014 Shelby GT500.

    Braided Rear Brake Lines

Very easy to install, and gives comfort of mind that the lines won't burst under high temperature and high pressure situations. Have not had a chance to track the car hard since the install of these lines.

    Great Product

The J&M brake lines are must for anyone who uses their S197s brakes at the limits--such as autocross, track days, or even stopping at the end of a drag race. The lines are stainless steel, which expand less than stock rubber lines. Less expansion means more brake pressure is directly transferred to the brake pistons, increasing stopping power and giving a firmer pedal. The lines are coated in Teflon, which prevents the elements from rusting the lines and also helps prevent chafing and rubbing. My only gripe is that the lines take a very small amount of tweaking to get to fit properly.

    perfect!

My first track day I boiled my brake fluid. So I've added these stainless steel brake lines because they won't expand like the stock brake lines. I've also added Hawk Performance Pads and better fluid. Next track day is coming up. I can't wait to see how much better things go. My technician had no trouble installing them. everything needed was in the box.

    Great brake lines

A couple hours to install and bleed the brake system. Simple enough. Perfect fit. Solid improvement over the stock brake hoses/lines. Highly recommend.

    Good quality

After making a few adjustments to the supplied brackets I was able to complete the install obtaining a good fit. I would recommend these braided lines to all who want to upgrade.

    Steel braid brake lines

These brake lines are right in line with factory rubber hose. They made them for east install. Nice product and glad that AM had these in stock.

SS Brake Line, Rotor, Pad Replacement

I had a shop install the front Power Stop Evolution Cross-Drilled and Slotted Rotors on my 2011 Mustang GT along with a set of front and rear JandM Stainless Steel Teflon Brake Lines and Hawk Street Performance Pads. I had an issue with the pad retaining spring separating on the front pads, probably during shipping, and had to return and installed a similar pad. I am sure this was just a fluke. The complete set up improved both the performance and feel of the braking. When firmly applying the brakes, they grabbed hard; a noticeable improvement with a very hard brake feel. The looks of the rotors are great. I’ll probably replace the rear rotors in the near future. I would strongly recommend if you want a noticeable improvement, to replace all three of the original components: rotors, pads, and brake lines.

    Improved Braking

Very easy to install, well made, fits perfectly. Made a huge difference in my car when I took it to track. A must for everyone who wants to improve the brakes in their cars.
