Description
Improved Braking. J&M Products Stainless Steel/Teflon-lined braided hoses provide better performance than the stock rubber hoses. These direct replacement D.O.T. certified rear hose assemblies provide much quicker braking response, firmer pedal feel, and better brake modulation than the original stock hoses.

Additional Safety. Stainless Steel Teflon Brake Hoses not only improve your braking performance, but they also provide additional safety over the stock rubber hoses that can fail or split under extended track use.

Better than OEM Quality. Every J&M hose is tested to 3000 psi to guarantee a leak free hose assembly. And best of all these hoses are made right here in the USA.

Application. These are not universal fit brake lines you get at your local parts store, this set of front and rear hoses are designed to be a direct fit OEM replacement for the 1987 to 1993 5.0L V8 Mustangs, including the 5.0 LX, GT and SVT Cobra models.

Stunning design and very easy install! Brake pedal is rock hard and the best feel I have ever had! Just make sure you bleed all of the air out to get the hard pedal.

Perfect Fit, Looks Great and Functions Well!

These are really nice brake lines. I like how they incorporate the factory hard section of line and just improve the factory rubber hose with braided stainless steel with a Teflon sleeve. Also comes with the factory oem style bracket for the rear line. Russell and other brands do not do this. The only downfall is that the hard section of the lines is not stainless steel and will more than likely rust and corrode over time.

Great Product, Easy to Install, Greater Reliability!!!

I did a complete brake upgrade going to the 93 V8 Brakes, and I needed these lines. I race the car so I went with something that had greater reliability. I was not disappointed, bolted right on fitment was perfect, a must for someone who wants to improve overall braking. If you have to swap out the calipers or bleed the brakes pick these up and swap them out while you are at it.

Improved brake pedal feel and reliability

Items installed easily. Hardest part was removing 25 year old brake hoses. They were spongy and old rubber. The bleeding takes a bit to get it just right. I had to bleed it a few times. I may have to do it again to confirm best feel. All in all: For the price, you may as well upgrade to these hoses!

Firm Pedal and they fit just like OEM hoses

I ordered these during a monthly sale so it was definitely bang for your buck. I installed these in about 1.5 hours including brake bleeding. I did a rear disc brake conversion and figured to replace all the hoses at the same time since I would have to bleed the whole brake system. They look terrific and best part is they are shaped just like stock so installation is a breeze. My pedal is firmer than before makes the brake system feel solid. My only regret is not taking pictures and doing a write up for installing these hoses(the money towards a future order would've been nice). If you're in need of replacing hoses don't bother with the Chinese stock hoses from the auto parts store. Order these instead they look nicer and are made in the USA.

    Weekend brake upgrade

Just upgraded the front brakes of my '90 Mustang LX drag car opting to remain with the 4-lug system because I am not just pushing that much horsepower yet and am still running rear drums. My upgrade included SSBC turbo swirl rotors, Hawk Racing Brake Pads, National bearings and seals, and the JandM Stainless Steel Teflon Brake Lines that I obtained from American Muscle. I considered the Russell brakes lines, but for fit and finish I am happy I stayed with the JandM lines. They are a direct fit replacement for the OEM lines, look real nice, and finished off my weekend project with a nice firm pedal after a good bleed. The only challenge I had installing them was breaking loose the OEM brake hard line fitting from the OEM rubber/metal line to the caliper. The reconnect with the JandM lines happened without a hitch. Check out the pics I uploaded with the red Lakewood Drag Strut for reference. I also uploaded a pic of an old OEM line besides a new JandM line for comparison. I can't wait to test the new brakes at the track this fall. Thanks AM.
