    I have a 85 GT my rear center brake hose has a 3/8-24 connection instead of a banjo fitting are you aware of any adapter available so I can use this stainless line. Thanks, Glenn C

      Not the right parts

      I bought this kit to put on an 85 gt. The rear fitting with the loop and banjo bolt is incorrect for this car.

      Lines

      Brake lines look good and hold pressure good only the rear line is the wrong line for 4cylinder models but russel will tAke care of things there so i rate them good but beware your rear line might. Not work for your car

      Tricky but worth it

      I got these lines thinking that it would be fairly straight forward and simple, seeing as how you're just swapping 3 soft lines. However, it proved to be a bit more than I bargained for (although not difficult to get around) when I found the lines weren't quite the same as the OEM rubber hoses in terms of length or installation. They're the proper size threading for the front calipers and rear hard lines, but the front lines seem to differ from OEM in how they connect to the hard line coming from the engine bay. Like I said, not hard to get over but it wasn't what I was anticipating. Now, the rear steel line seems to be actually be of a different flare type or size, it seems. The holes that lead out of the T-Junction are MOST DEFINITELY smaller than that of the OEM rubber soft line. Be weary of this, as I did not know this, and using the normal hard lines only resulted in having no brake pressure as brake fluid leaked around the hard line. Aside from that, they're a great product. I suffered from chronic mooshy brakes before installation, and now the brakes are firm and resistant, and suffer from fade considerably less under repeated light use, like stop and go traffic.

      AWESOME PRODUCT!!

      These are going on my 85 drag car. I'm doing a 5lug conversion and these will be the perfect upgrade. Heavy duty and long lasting.
