1993 Mustang Overview

It contained a 225 horsepower engine 275lb/ft of torque, and a re-done throttle body. It is now popular among drag racers, and car afficianado's worldwide.

The 1993 GT, however, took a 7hp hit from previous models due to a more restrictive air flow sensor. To mark its final year the Mustang added many colors including electric red, bright blue clearcoat metallic, royal blue clearcoat metallic, reef blue clearcoat metallic, silver clearcoat metallic, vibrant red and vibrant white.

Ford marked the end of the Fox Body generation with the Cobra and Cobra R (Race). The Cobra R being a stripped down race ready version of the Cobra, with removed sound deadening, radio, air conditioning and all other electric accessories. The Cobra came with a 235hp motor with a special intake allowing for better air flow into the motor resulting in the power gains. The Cobra also received a special sport suspension system designed for road racing from Tokico and also larger brakes to help stop this beast of a Mustang. With beign a limited production car the Cobra came in just three colors; Red, Black, and Teal. While the Cobra R came in only one, Red.
