Improves Horsepower. The BBK Cold Air Intake kit completely replaces your 1989-1993 5.0 mustangs restrictive stock factory air box and paper filter with a high flow BBK filter assembly for a noticeable increase in horsepower and acceleration while providing filtration of harmful power robbing dust particles. The BBK CAI pulls cooler denser air from inside the fender well to make more power you can feel.

Reusable Filter. BBK designed the air filter to be reusable. So no need to go out and buy a new filter every few thousand miles. Just clean the filter, re-oil it, save money, and go!

Chrome Finish. The BBK CAI not only Improves Horsepower and Acceleration, but improves your mustangs under hood appearance with a strikingly beautiful chrome finish. You'll be sure to win all the car shows with this jewel under the hood.

Simple Install. The BBK Cold Air Intake kit is relatively easy to install with basic hand tools. No extra modifications are required for the installation. See the video below for an overview of the installation process.

Application. This BBK Cold Air Intake is designed as a direct fit replacement for the 1989 to 1993 5.0L V8 Mustangs, and for the 1986 to 1988 Mustang owners that do not have the factory MAF just pick up the BBK Speed Density CAI Adapter Kit for a perfect fit!

Not sure how much HP/TQ is gained, but you can feel it right off the bat. Initial acceleration is noticeably quicker. I actually enjoy the slight sound you hear when accelerating from air being sucked in that is not there with stock intake. Only downfall is changing/cleaning the conical filter. I have the patience of a saint, but getting the filter back on from under the wheel well is basically a blind hit-or-miss, even with two people. Still, I love the BBK CAI!Any part or mod I need that I can buy through AmericanMuscle.com, I do. Great product! Everything that you need is in the box. Fairly easy to install but make sure you install the filter on the short elbow before you attempt to connect everything together. This will make it MUCH easier to put together. It is nearly impossible to install the filter from the inside of the fender. Overall, I'm very impressed with the looks, functionality and price of this item. Highly recommended!
