These Long Tube Headers are completed in BBK's Polished Silver Ceramic Coating that not only looks great, but reduce under hood temperatures to help increase horsepower and extend the life of the headers. Ceramic Coated headers will long out last both chrome plated and polished headers.
Quality BBK Construction. BBK Long Tube Exhaust headers are manufactured from 1 5/8" CNC mandrel bent tubing for unrestricted airflow. And feature one piece laser cut 3/8" header flanges for added strength, leak-free performance and OEM fit. These headers are then completed in a polished silver ceramic finish for good looks and to lower under hood temperatures.
Recommended Upgrade. To realize the full power potential that these Long Tube Headers have to offer, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune with either a SCT SF3 or SCT LiveWire Custom Tuner.
Application. These Ceramic Long Tube Headers are designed to fit the coupe and convertible, manual transmission 1996 to 2004 GT Mustangs. BBK long tube headers require a flanged end shorty midpipe in order to function properly. BBK recommends using a BBK shorty H-Pipe for the best performance gains (see drop down option above).
Technical notes. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; intended for off road use only. An O2 Sensor Extension Kit and BBK shorty mid-pipe are required for installation.
