Improves Handling. Complete your Mustangs suspension upgrades with an Eibach Anti-Roll Sway Bar Kit. Anti Roll Kits, sometimes referred to as Sway Bars, reduce body roll through increased design stiffness over the factory bars. The results are superior handling, flatter cornering and better stability in any driving situation.

Superior Quality and Materials. Eibach manufactures their Anti-Roll Sway Bars from cold-formed, high-strength aircraft-grade steel for precision performance. The 35mm tubular Front Sway Bar has 3-way adjustability while the 22mm solid Rear Sway Bar is non-adjustable and both are completed in a red powdercoat finish for great looks and long life.

Application. This Eibach Anti-Roll Sway Bar Kit is designed for use on the 2005 to 2010 coupe and convertible Mustangs, including the V6, GT, and Bullitt models. Does not fit Shelby GT500.

Hi I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and this is my detailed break down of Eibachs anti roll sway bar kit, for all 2005-2010 V6 and GT Mustangs. If you’re not familiar with sway bars, here’s what you need to know: as far as basic suspension components go, sway bars are one of the biggest tools for reducing body roll and understeer through turns. This kit from Eibach should make for flatter cornering, and a more stable car in just about any driving situation. We know what they should do in theory but we want to see how these sway bars perform in real world situations. So with that said we’re going to take our 06 GT out on the street, look for some turns and see how our car handles now in stock form. Alright, so we’re out in our 06 GT, doing a little test drive before we install those Eibach sway bars, and honestly the car feels ok, but let’s be honest, these are bigger cars, they’re kind of heavy, so there’s going to be a little understeer through turns when you push them hard, there’s going to be a little bit of body roll. However, I definitely feel there’s room for improvement, so with that said, let’s get our GT back to the shop. This kit consists of a 35mm tubular front sway bar, and a solid 22mm rear bar. As for the construction, Eibach decided to go with a cold form, aircraft grade steel, and then finished everything off in a very cool red powder coat. This kit also features high quality polyurethane bushings, complete with a greasable fitting, which is only going to prolong the life of your bushing, and help keep any excess noise to a minimum. Installation of the front/rear sway bar should only take you about 2 hours but does require you to do some crawling around underneath the car, and removal of some stubborn bolts, so just be sure to have your favorite can of penetrating oil on hand before you get started. Once you have everything off the new Eibach kit should go on relatively easily, thanks to the new end links hardware and brackets that are including with the kit. Now that we have our Eibach anti roll kit installed on our 06 GT behind me, let’s get it out of the shop 1 more time and see the difference this kit makes. Alright, so we’re back out on the road in our 06 GT with the Eibach sway bar kit installed, and the car just feels so much more planted already, I mean we’re already a couple of turns in, and we’ve already got to feel what a difference these make. I don’t want to say totally eliminated the body roll because that would be unrealistic, but here we go, nice right hander. We’re moving along, and we’re pretty flat, this car is cornering a lot better than it did in stock form, and it’s really, really a lot more confident. You don’t want to hammer on it through the turns because when you add a larger rear sway bar like that, it will make the rear end a little bit more happy meaning it’s probably going to step out on you a little bit easier. But I for one like that, it makes the car a lot more fun to drive. These sway bars without a doubt would be a vital, vital addition to any suspension build, and really made a world of difference right here on our 06 GT. So that does it for the Eibach anti roll sway bar kit, which you can find right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

Ford Racing Lowering Springs 1.25 inch (V6) Will Ford Racing lowering springs (1.25 inch) and the Eibach Anti-roll sway bar kit (V6) work together? Can I have both of these products on my car or will there be problems I will run into? Lastly, if they can both be put on the car how will the car handle and ride? High speeds, bumpy roads, cruising, etc? This is my daily driver. Thank you!

  • They will work perfectly together. In terms of mounting springs and sway bars are disjoint. Sway bar and springs in any car never go against each other. Upgraded sway bar is the absolute best bang for buck even more than springs and shocks when it comes to handling. You would see huge difference in handling specially in cornering where mustangs are notorious for its body roll.

    Good upgrade

Bought this set up for my 05 v6. felt the difference right away. Very confident in its turns great improvement for obvious reasons (V6s don't come equipped with a rear sway bar.) The only problem I had was after I installed them about a week later the rear end links bent and broke....once I looked at where they broke the wall on the end link that connect to the bar is very thin and weak and its not even all metal inside witch was disappointing. I would suggest buying another pair of solid rear end links with this set up especially if your ride is lowered.

    Great improvement

My 08 V6 didn't have a rear sway bar and always felt mushy in curves. Now it rides flat through curves and handles like a dream. Huge difference. Simple install. lines up perfectly. Access to a lift makes it much easier. Overall great product.

    Makes a real difference

I have started doing autocross with my V6 stang recently (never done with a muscle car before) and I started to see severe body roll in slalom and instability while exiting corners and punching the gas pedal even a bit earlier. This product makes that totally gone!! The car "feels" much lighter and very easy to manoeuvre even in tightest hair pin corners and figure 8 courses. I use the softest setting in front and hence the front does not feel like ploughing that badly any more. The rear bar makes a huge difference in handling. I feel it more as my V6 vert did not come with a rear sway bar - I have seriously started doubting the ford design engineers. Now with this adjustment and a strut tower brace, I have achieved a tighter handling car closer to a neutral steer, and I still have not upgraded my springs/dampers yet! I have improved my timing in track few seconds due to better handling and higher confidence in my car because I know that now I can push it HARD rather than kinda hard. However one thing to note here that in the customer provided installation instruction the stiffest/softest setting is wrong, it is the other way - I think someone else pointed that out here too. So bottomline is if you race in rally or autocross or road race, you need to upgrade your sway bars. period. This product is well priced, easy to install and does make a big difference. I strongly recommend it as an racer with 8 years of experience and as a design engineer too.

Why weren't these put on at the factory? A major change in the vehicle (for the better...).

Eibach is the way to go

It too me about an hour to take off the stock front sway bar and me and a buddy to put the front and rear one on. I recommend using two people to install, makes thing easier for one to hold it into place while the other attaches. Huge difference in handling.

    The best improvement in handling

Out of all the suspension parts I added the EIbach Sway bar kit had the biggest impact on cornering. The shop said the install was easy and for a V6 that doesn't have a rear bar in the coupe , except the Pony Package the cornering was greatly noticed to be a huge improvement. I liked the 3 hole adjustment and for my setup the stiffest setting ended up being the best. Be cautioned that depending on your setup it may not be. Your going to need to try all three depending on your setup and that's what makes this kit nice. The front is adjustable. Make sure the endlinks are nice and tight or your going to get a clunking sound. Don't skate tightening them even though it can be difficult to do or noise will be loud. The shop said the endlink was difficult to tighten be rest assured you'll know if they aren't tight. I can't see how anyone would be disappointed with this kit. It's the biggest improvement I noticed out of everything.

    Anti-roll kit a success.

The Eibach anti-roll kit was easy to install. Photos included with the kit were a bit weak in explaination, but the additional information at AM was good--EXCEPT on the pic of the setting of stiffness. The link should be set to the front of the car for the stiffest setting, not as pictured toward the rear of the car. (So the last photo of the AM installation instructions is just opposite of what it's trying to say). Other than that, a very easy install that will definately upgrade your squishy V6 front end! Sieg!

Big Improvement over Stock (2010 GT)

These are very easy to install and took less than 2 hours to do both front and rear. Car feels much tighter and handling has improved greatly. I'd highly recommend this item. The fit and finish of the parts were excellent as well.

    Great improvement over stock

I bought these for my 09 V6. The install was rather simple, took about two and a half hours with multiple breaks in between. Corners much better, gives a good sense of confidence around tight turns now.

    worked well on 05 convertible

This kit is worth the $, with new end links in rear, and adustable front. It worked better at roll control in corners than I had hoped for and is helping keep me flatter/less flutter on hard launches( nitto 555 tires and Procharged)Kit fit no problem with all the extra convertible bracing under the rear as well
