Axle-Back. Constructed from high quality stainless steel tubing with dual slant cut stainless steel tips, this Shelby GT500 Axle-Back exhaust system features specifically engineered chambered mufflers to eliminate that annoying exhaust drone that is heard at sustained RPM's.
Rear Valance. Made from OEM quality high pressure injection molded thermal plastic for it's long lasting durability, this rear diffuser valance features an OEM grained texture for increased longevity against rock impacts from daily driving.
Application. This Rear Diffuser and axle-back kit is a direct fit replacement for the 2013-2014 Shelby GT500 and BOSS 302 Mustangs, can also be installed to upgrade the appearance and sound of your V6 or GT models with modifications.
GT and V6 Installation Note. Installation of this Shelby GT500 rear valance diffuser on a GT or V6 model will require modifing the stock factory rear bumper fascia cover. You will need to cut and remove the lower section of the cover and cut slits to retain the valance. Fortunately Ford pre-marked the backside of the factory fascia cover showing exactly where you need to cut making the job much easier.
Due to differences in the size of the axle-back piping diameter V6 models will require additional exhaust modifications.
