Description
Keep Cool. Whether running your Mustang hard at the track, the strip, or on the street, it's important to keep temps down to keep power levels up and protect your engine. If you're having trouble keeping things cool, a Mishimoto Mustang radiator has up to 25% more cooling capacity than your OEM radiator making it a must-have mod.

Floating Bracket Stabilizer System. High torque engines and body flex can cause radiator end tanks to crack or separate from the core, in order to eliminate this issue Mishimoto has engineered a patent-pending floating bracket stabilizer system that allows their radiators to "float" freely with out binding or cracking under stress.

Lightweight Aluminum. Mishimoto Radiators are crafted of lightweight high-quality aluminum. Each radiator is hand-welded to which ensure a perfect fit and great underhood appearance.

Leak-Proof Design. Other aftermarket radiators have a design problem that causes leakage from the outlet to the overflow reservoir. Unlike other manufacturer, Mishimoto uses specially designed brass fittings to ensure leak-free performance. And all of their radiators are pressure tested twice before leaving the factory so you can install your new radiator with confidence.

Application. This Mishimoto Mustang Radiator is designed for the 1997 to 2004 Mustang GT, Mach 1, Bullitt and the 1997 to 2001 SVT Cobra models. Fits manual transmissions only.

Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, here with a way to keep your ride cool all while making a dramatic visual improvement under the hood as well, I’m talking about these Mishimoto aluminum radiators for your 94-04 Mustang. Mishimoto has become one of the industry leaders in producing quality performance radiators for just about any vehicle you can think of, from bone stock daily drivers to hardcore professional race cars. These direct replacements are a great solution to an old, damaged, or leaking factory rad, or for a heavily modded or forced induction car, where the cooling system just can’t keep up with the increased cooling needs. The Mishimoto will help keep your street or strip Mustang much cooler by using this 2 row core, which is going to allow for a 25% increase in cooling capacity next to your stock radiator. Every Mishimoto radiator is constructed using durable lightweight aluminum, features leak proof fittings, and are all hand welded to ensure top notch quality and fitment. On top of all that, every Mishimoto radiator is backed by a no questions asked, limited lifetime warranty. A big feature with the Mishimoto is their patent pending floating bracket mounting system, that eliminates a major flaw in the factory mount design. Because of the Mustangs torque the front of the car tends to flex under load, which can sometimes lead to a damaged radiator. The floating brackets attach to the side of the radiator, using these rubber grommets to absorb any movement, in addition Mishimoto has added breaks to the top and bottom header plates, that allow the radiator to flex without being damaged. Getting this installed may be slightly more difficult than installing say, a cold air intake for instance, but honestly it’s not that bad. Think of it as a giant oil change. Before getting started you will need something on hand to hold all that fluid, in this case we recommend having at least a 15 quart drain pan on hand, before you start draining your fluids. Once you get all the fluids drained, remove the hoses from the stock radiator, unbolt it, and remove it from the engine bay. Reinstall the new Mishimoto in reverse order, reattach the hoses and fill it with a 50/50 mix of coolant and water. Doing all this should take you no more than 2 hours. Any gearhead knows that heat is one of the worse enemies of performance, it can hurt power, damage your fuel mileage and worse of all damage your motor. So if you want to help your Mustang keep its cool whether it’s on the street or the track, then you’ll definitely want to check out one of these Mishimoto performance aluminum radiators, right here at AmericanMuscle.com

    Really Nice Radiator

Really easy to install. Just follow the instructions step by step and don't forget to install the rubber grommets correctly or the unit won't fit. Pretty easy install (removal of stock radiator is a pain). But works great. Fan hardly ever comes on. Sweet upgrade!

The radiator went in great with a little adjustment to the AC lines(bend them 1/2 inch by hand). It's pretty well hidden so it doesn't offer much visual appeal however I couldn't see the sense in adding serious horsepower without making sure it runs cool first. With that done and a moroso expansion tank it's time crank up the power

    Mishimoto Great Fit!!

I have a ProCharged 99 GT and I was concerned I would have problems getting this bigger radiator installed. Other than a quick tweak to the A/C lines, it fit like a glove. Stabalizers were a breeze to install and so far no problems!

    Radiator Upgrade

I purchased this radiator as a complement to some other items that I was replacing on my 2004 Mustang GT (5-speed). I haven't had much opportunity to wring it out yet, but from what I've seen thus far, it's at least on par with the (much more expensive) Fluidyne unit. The Good: Looks sharp, everything needed to install is in the box, and the stabilizer system makes a LOT of sense. The Bad: When refilling/burping the system, no-where does it say how MUCH bigger this radiator is. Answer: figure on buying 3 gallons of coolant, and you'll have about a third of a gallon left. The Ugly: Burrs on the radiator hose nipples. I knocked them off with a file, but be careful, as you're introducing aluminum shavings into the area. Also, the hardware kit is on the BOTTOM of the box, under the fitted foam insert. Overall, I like this unit. We'll see how it performs next time I'm at the track. Installation was fairly straightforward (once I found the hardware). I did the radiator as part of a larger upgrade/update package, so I'm not going to say that gains were solely because of the radiator, but the car certainly seems to like it. If it lasts half as long as the OEM radiator, I'll be satisfied.

    Great replacement

I bought this after i wrecked my car. It fit a little tight, but went in no problem. It is super nice to have more coolant in your car. A few weeks ago i took my car in for AC repair. and they told me it was cracked. So i called Mishimoto and they sent one the very next day no questions asked. I hope this upgraded one will hold up better than the other one.!

    Great performance radiator

My 02 GT drop would overheat in traffic or on a hot day at times. Turns out my stock radiator was failing. I wanted a performance radiator and so far this product has lived up to it. I had a shop install it. The mechanic mentioned he had to tweak the A/C lines for it to fit but was impressed with the quality of this radiator. If you're a daily driver this is the radiator for you.
