So upgrade to the new RAM Adjustable Hydraulic Throwout Bearing and Slave Cylinder for reliability.

Adjustable. RAM designed their Throwout Bearing and Slave Cylinder to be adjustable which allows for a wider range of adjustable movement than that of the stock OEM unit.

Hey guys, i just bought a RAM clutch, i brought it to ford, had it installed, but my car wasnt shifting correctly and i couldnt find the gears.. this was because my slave wasnt strong enough to operate the clutch. i quickly bought this slave because i thought, because i own a RAM clutch, i might as well stray from the brand to avoid problems, boy was i wrong. this clutch comes in 12 -13 different pieces. it is adjustable, but not self adjusting. you have to install it, drive the car, see if its correctly adjusted, if not, take it out and put a shim or two in order to re-adjust the slave. it is a headache. im not trying to badmouth RAM or american muscle, i love my ram clutch, i would recommend that anyone. just not this slave. thanks!

Need a Ram Clutch to go with

I purchased a Spec clutch from American muscle and also the RAM Throwout bearing to go with it thinking these parts will match, they DO NOT, no one at American muscle could tell me why until I called the Spec clutch dealer, who informed me that you can only use a Spec throwout bearing with a Spec clutch, so if you purchase a Ram throwout bearing make sure you only use a Ram clutch and only get advice from the Ram dealer not American Muscle
