RAM Clutches Powergrip Metallic/Organic Clutch Kit; 23-Spline (11-17 Mustang GT; 12-13 Mustang BOSS 302)

Street or Strip. Powergrip clutches are great for modified street/strip Mustangs. If you're replacing your clutch, it is also a good idea to replace or resurface your flywheel at the same time to prolong the life of your new Clutch.

Superior Design. RAM Powergrip Mustang Clutch kits utilizes a unique blend of 900 and 300 series friction materials and increased clamp loads to give you the holding power needed for aggressive street driving, occasional drag strip use, and the all around performance you expect from your clutch system.

Application. The RAM Powergrip Clutch kits are the performance clutch for your street/strip Mustang. This Powergrip Mustang Clutch is designed for the 2011-2017 GT and Boss 302 with the MT-82 transmission. Some chatter will occur on takeoff.

It's recommended that you add an SR Performance Braided Stainless Steel Hydraulic Clutch Line during your new clutch install. Stock plastic clutch lines can fail during aggressive driving. Stainless steel clutch lines help prevent gear lockout and provide superior clutch pedal feel, even under the toughest conditions.

Technical Note. It is recommended to install a new Ram flywheel with this replacement clutch for the 2011-2017 Mustang GTs. Please view our flywheel page for steel and aluminum flywheel replacements.
