Visibility? These look awesome, I'm just worried it will reduce the visibility to much for someone to see that I'm braking, therefore rear ending my baby :'(

How dark is the tint? Is it light enough to see in daylight? Im looking for a light tint that wont make the taillights seem to dark.

Are these going to peel when i wash my car Will the tint peel on the taillights with water or will water be able to get under the tint? would it be better to buy the smoked taillights or the tint?

  • My roommate has tail light tint on his 12 mustang and it's completely fine with car washes. I would buy smokes taillights if I were you just because I think it should look better, but I don't think there will be any problem with a tint.

    Great

Ok, there is a trick to getting these on properly. You need to get a blow dryer to make the vinyl flexible so it can stretch and bend to the shape of the taillights. heat is the key to this. be sure to apply a good amount of water to the tailight and the vinyl to avoid the vinyl sticking to itself. begin to place the vinyl on its appropriate location on your mustang. then begin working with the squeegie from one corner outward. if you get a crease dont panic, just apply extra heat to the area with the blowdryer and work it out. its good to have an extra person working with you on this so one can operate the water and squeegie and the other can use the blow dryer. just take your time with it, no need to rush. any crease you get can be worked out with some time and elbow grease. if you have any problems, just step back and try not to get frustrated. this is a great product and well worth the money once you get everything installed. any questions you can e-mail me at jaymurdock77@yahoo.com

Mustang Smoked Taillights are worth getting and are low price. They look alot better than the plastic black covers that are sold. Just a small but great addition.

    Mean smoked look for cheap!

    January 17, 2013

I give this part an A+! My brother got the smoked Raxiom tail lights for his Mach 1 and I loved them, so I was going to buy them when I found the tint. I'm so glad with how they turned out! They look just like the Raxiom's and now my Cobra has that mean look! I highly recommend this part!

    Amazing!!

This tint looks great! It is an easy install and makes the back end of any mustang look tougher. It is a little tricky to get any bubbles out but if you follow the directions your mustang will look sick!

    Definitely worth it

    May 11, 2011

I have no experience with this sort of thing, and I managed to make mine look like the tints were part of the lights all along. Just follow the instructions, take your time, and use a hair dryer when necessary. Creases can be worked out with heat from the hair dryer, so don't worry if you get one. Take your time with the outermost sections of the lights in particular, these are more difficult due to the fact they are curved, but its nothing an amateur can't handle (hair dryer is very helpful for these sections). Great product, and well worth the time and effort to install.
