Improves Traction. Eliminate wheel hop and keep your 2005-2014 Mustang's rear end planted whether you're accelerating or carving the corners with a pair of Steeda's Chromoly Steel Lower Control Arms.

Lowers 60 Ft Times. If you're tired of not being able to "hook up" and put your power down at the line, these lower control arms will help your Mustang's rear end stay planted for dramatically lower 60 foot times.

Legendary Steeda Design. Steeda's chromoly lower control arms are another product of their industry-leading engineering and design. Significantly lighter than both OE parts and other aftermarket designs, these arms reduce unsprung weight for improved handling. These lower control arms were the first to incorporate the proper rear offset for the S197, due to Steeda's exclusive technology transfer program with Ford.

Made to Last. Steeda's steel arms are made from super strong 4130 chromoly alloy - making them twice as strong as other aftermarket arms which are made from mild steel. Specially designed polyurethane bushings ensure your ride quality is as good as stock, with no additional noise, vibration, or harshness. These chromoly steel control arms are finished with a bright silver powdercoat for durability and good looks.

Application. The Steeda chromoly steel rear lower control arms are designed as direct replacement for your stamped steel lower control arms on your 2005-2014 Mustang, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, and Shelby GT500 models.

    Steeda Adjustable Control Arms

Steeda makes some of the best products around for the S197 Mustang. There is a significant improvemnt in wheel hop with these. I'm not going to bore you with the typical blah blah blah review. I will just let you know they're as great as everyone says. Now heres some tips. I talked with Ford, and instead of replacing the stock nuts and bolts like the service manual says, its ok to use blue thread lock. This will save you $65. Also, make sure to jack the car uder the rear axle if you don't have a lift. Loosen both the front and rear bolt on the control arms to assist with getting the bolts out and prevent binding. Thats pretty much the best advice I can give you.

    Great product to improve traction

Very high quality lca's. They are lighter then the stock ones by 3-4lbs and are 2-3 times stronger. Improves your launches with less wheel hop and more power to the ground. I used the supplied Energy Suspension Formula 5 grease and used 1 full packet per lower control arm. The more grease you add on the ends of the lca the better. Prevents them from squeaking. Only use synthetic grease on poly bushings. Easy to install and came with directions that help out also. No increased NVH or squeaks as long as you lube them very well.

Well.... It is a Steeda Product!

Top notch products from a top notch company. I had these installed over the last weekend, and it was a breeze. Everything was packaged correctly and nothing was damaged. The product its self seems to be holding up pretty well, as chromoly is very strong and light. Additionally, you can actually notice the reduction in wheel hop... Hopefully there will be some verification on the 60ft times when she makes it down to the track!

    buy it!!

I purchased these Steeda lca because of their quality and reputation. Product performs as description says. Ford should have addressed this issue with wheel hop a long time ago. This simple upgrade made the rear end really dig in especially with 3.73 gears. Buy it.

    Great part

I put these bad boys on my 2010 GT and man there is a difference. Right off the bat I can feel the launch is stiffer and a severe decrease in wheel hop. If you're trying to decrease your spinout on a light-to-light then you have to have these.

    good replacement

The Steeda arms use chrome moly tubing and are made in the USA. I did not expect a reduction in wheel hop as described by other Mustang owners. There is a minor reduction with wheel hop. Don't expect the lower arms to conquer this problem by themselves. Lateral movement is greatly reduced. The remaining rear suspension is stock with 7k miles.

    great product

awesome addition to my stang. It almost completely eliminated my wheelhop with these alone. Take offs feel much better, and so does cornering. Overall the car feels much more planted to the ground, and Americanmuscle shipped these to my house very FAST!

Great product, though no grease fitting

Bought to change out my SVT ones; MUCH firmer feel, and yes, no wheel hop. Get's under load faster, thanks to the poly bushings, fairly easy install (though you will struggle a bit trying to torque those front bolts being you're limited on space if you have a long torque wrench like most are). Only complaint is there are not grease fittings, though it wouldn't be too much trouble to grease them again. Comes with all hardware and instructions for install, easy to do on a lift, and not too bad on jacks. Seems I can hook up much faster on take-off. 5 stars from me! As always, thanks AM for Uber-fast shipping before our SITH cruise!

    way less wheel hop

The control arms were very easy to installe, and almost all the wheel hop is gone, I would still recommend getting the 3rd link to get rid of all your wheel hop.

    Steeda LCA

Awesome product! Best out there. Chromoly Steel is superior to the competitors. My ride feels firmer and there's no more wheel hop!!!! Great for the drag-strip. Lowered my 60ft times drastically. An easy install. A must buy. Thanks American Muscle!

    Perfect fit and finish!

Was starting my rear suspension build and was trying to alleviate wheel hop... other than the sway bar and end links (which don't help with wheelhop) this was my first part of fixing the wheelhop puzzle. The parts went on easy with no issues and definitely gave the car a more planted feel when your foot was in it... with one issue... on a lowered car you need to correct the pinion angle for proper traction. This mod by itself removed wheel hop but allowed me to fry the tires at will in second and third gear. I highly recommend the Steeda adjustable UCA as a companion so you can dial the pinion angle back in and get the power to the street.

    Awesome!

I ordered the replacement OEM bolts and nuts to install these even though the take off hardware looked to be in good condition. I installed them by myself using the supplied instructions in about an hour and 1/2. My first test drive with them and I was a believer! Some hard launches and my tires were grabbing like never before and my wheel hop was almost completely gone. This mod made my 2013 Gt ride a little stiffer on the freeway and I hear a little more road noise but it's not bad and totally worth it. I definitely recommend the Steeda Chromoly LCAs.

    Incredible performance!

These were the first addition to my 2011 mustang GT. They certainly got rid of my wheel hop! None at all! If you pair these with a set of relocation brackets you are sure to have no wheel hop and with the relocation brackets pushing more power to the ground, the car will launch with more traction and control as well! GET THEM NOW!

    No more wheel hop

I ended up having these professionally installed; it took the shop practically no time. I had upper control arms installed at the same time - between the two upgrades, wheel hop is totally gone. I'm very happy with these.
