Highly Effective. The full-features air filter in this intake takes out particles as small as 2 microns in size. It does it with oil soaked cotton that grabs the little tiny molecules as they pass by. The filter features a bunch of layers of cloth packaged neatly into a little space. It's washable and you can easily clean up the filter to use it again and again for longevity, you just need to add oil afterward.

Plastic and Stainless Steel. This Airaid Cold Air Dam intake is made up mostly of plastic and stainless steel. Polyethylene is used to make the housing of the intake as well as the intake pipe. Stainless steel clamps help hold the intake tube in place and stainless steel hardware holds everythig in position. The ends of this intake are formed from plastic, and the whole unit stands up to hard use capably thanks to its tough design.

Install Quick. Like most other Airaid intakes, this one goes on in around an hour. You can put it into position and then lock it in place using the included hardware. Forget about special installation procedures or tuning, this doesn't require any of that.
