Could I use a HID conversion kit with these headlight??

LukeA

  • These headlights were not designed to be used with HID lights however, they could be used if the bulb socket was the same. We must insist on being very cautious as HID operate at a high temperature and it could cause damage to the headlight housing.

The product looks nice but what I really need is brightness, my old lights are so dull that I can hardly tell there on. What is the illumination of this product, is there a rating? Thanks. John

  • The chrome housing and clear lenses are going to allow the lights to shine much brighter than stock. These headlights do reuse the stock bulbs, but they can also be changed out. We do not have a rating for these headlights since they reuse the stock bulbs.

    Overall Acceptable

I had the lights professionally installed by a long time and reputable shop I have done business with for many years. Installer told me the lights were not well designed and did not have capacity to be adjusted as much as he thought they should. He also indicated that they did not have a good fit which is apparent because I can see the gap to the interior seam. The light beam is much wider than OEM light which is a good attribute. The lights look good and the running lights are an excellent safety feature. I cannot rate longevity because I have only had the lights in my truck for a week.

    Fitment Fail

After 2 hours of adjustments, trying to get light tight into the opening, I gave up and said it's a truck. Overall look is good, had to change bulbs to a brighter white to match LEDs.
