Attention: Failure to follow instructions may result in damage of this product. AmericanMuscle will not be responsible for improperly installed Pedals.

Installation:

  1. Remove the stock brake and clutch pedal covers using an angled pick tool or trim/fork tool. Use the back of the new Pedals for reference, as the OEM pedals are installed with the same rubber lip around the metal base. Start with the tool from the back of the pedal under the rubber lip. Work the tool around to the front, then around the perimeter of the pad.

NOTE: The stock accelerator pedal will not be removed.

  3. Install the brake and clutch pedals to the stock metal assemblies in the exact same way the stock pedals were attached. To aid in the installation of the pedals, use hot water to soften the rubber lip. Use dish soap as a lubricant. Place the rubber lip of the pedal over the edge of metal assembly, working down each side of the pedal toward the bottom, working the rubber lip of pedal over the edge of metal assembly.

  4. NOTE: The rubber lip of the pedals MUST be over the edge of the metal assembly all of the way around the pedals.

CAUTION: The use of tools such as a flat screwdriver, 90-degree pick tool, or trim/panel tool may help in attaching brake and clutch pedal covers, BUT be careful NOT to damage rubber lip of Pedal Covers.

  5. Test fit the accelerator pedal to OEM pedal, to understand fitment. DO NOT REMOVE TAPE BACKING AT THIS TIME.

  6. Clean OEM accelerator pedal surface with alcohol on a paper towel. Allow time for pedal to dry completely; there should be no ‘wet’ areas prior to installing the new pedal.

  7. Once dry, remove tape backing from the pedal cover and apply the new pedal to OEM pedal. Press firmly on pedal to ensure bond.
