Mustang Smoked Headlight Covers Installation Guide (2005+)

The below installation instructions work for the following products:

Here at American Muscle, we're all about DIY (do it yourself). Of course, there's nothing wrong with seeking out a little bit of tech help prior to taking on an installation on your own. Our Mustang installation guides will provide valuable instructions and hopefully answer any how-to questions that you may have along the way.

Please read through the instructions carefully before starting this project.  Take the time to get all the materials together as well as all the safety equipment.

• Soap and Water (or whatever you use for washing your car)
• Lint-Free Towels (chamois work excellent)
• Headlight Covers

Installation:

1. Thoroughly wash both the new headlight covers and the existing clear covers on your Mustang. It is a very important step to remove all lint, dust, and bugs. Once installed, all imperfections will show when the headlights are turned on.





2. You will notice a molded plastic clip on your new headlight covers; this will align with top bezel of existing headlight.
   





3. Grasping outside of new cover (avoid getting fingerprints on inside of covers) Angle the cover, starting at the bottom of existing headlight. Making sure that cover tucks inside of body panels, clip the cover to the top of headlight bezel and repeat with other side.





4. This is, without a doubt, the easiest installation you can make and it has a huge impact on the front of your Mustang!
