Performance Upgrade. If you are installing a new set of lowering springs it is a good time to replace your old worn out rubber Spring Isolators with a new set of Polyurethane Spring Isolators available from AmericanMuscle.

Superior Materials. These Polyurethane Spring Isolators are made from polyurethane that has been impregnated with graphite so they will not dry out and crack like the stock factory rubber pieces.

Application. Designed to replace the stock Rear rubber units found on the 1979-2004 Mustangs these Spring Isolators will greatly improve the handling of your lowered pony. Not for use on SVT Cobra's with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS).

These are great Isolators, so much better than the hard, stock, plastic isolators. This is a must if you are going to change your springs.

As I replaced my rear axle I also added new control arms and shocks, I found the old rubber isolators to be in poor condition, as I suspected they would be. Replacing those with the new polyurethane pieces not only gives me better support for the springs, but they'll last longer as well. No problem to get to, just drop the lower control arms, pull out the springs, then buckle it all up. Anytime you can replace the rubber items with polyurethane replacements, do it! When I couldn't find these at the local parts store, AM had them!

Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service!
