Performance Upgrade. If you are installing a new set of lowering springs it is a good time to replace your old worn out rubber Spring Isolators with a new set of SR Performance Polyurethane Spring Isolators available from AmericanMuscle.

Superior Materials. These SR Performance Polyurethane Spring Isolators are made from polyurethane that has been impregnated with graphite so they will not dry out and crack like the stock rubber pieces.

Application. Designed to replace the stock Rear rubber units found on the 1979-2004 Mustangs these SR Performance Spring Isolators will greatly improve the handling of your lowered pony. Not for use on SVT Cobra's with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS).

What's the inside and outside diameter for these. I want to use to fit for an adjustable coil over set.

I put lowering springs all around. Now when I hit a bump it jars me out of the seat. Will these fix that?

BigAl

  • They may help settle the springs on the seats but, shocks are responsible for the ride quality I would recommend changing the shocks.

    04 Pony Springs

Totally recommend these springs! My wife was complaining her ride was mushy. Her shocks were not that old . I decided to go with springs and lower her car at the same time. Her pony drives like a new car. Handling is much better especially on S curves. These should have been the stock springs. Only disappointment is car does not appear to be as lowered as I expected. However, the car's stance is improved and my wife is happy it is not slammed to the ground.

    A must have

Don't install a set of springs without these isolators. They fit great and are tough. Much better than the stock rubber stuff.

    Great Isolators

These are great Isolators, so much better than the hard, stock, plastic isolators. This is a must if you are going to change your springs.

A must have over those old factory worn out isolators!

I installed these at the same time that I installed my Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs. My factory isolators were thin and breaking apart. These new isolators fit great and allowed the new springs to sit perfect on my new SR Performance control arms. Highly recommend these isolators!!

    Poly isolators

I run these front and back on my stang. They really help reduce road noise and squeaks from bare metal to metal contact. 15 min. install super easy!

    Rear Spring Isolator

Great item! The factory ones that are made of rubber will crack, deteriorate, and fall apart. These new isolators are made of Polyurethane will last a lifetime. This will also help the rubbing that your springs against the body. No more creaking and cracking noises.

Bad isolators out, good isolators in!

As I replaced my rear axle I also added new control arms and shocks, I found the old rubber isolators to be in poor condition, as I suspected they would be. Replacing those with the new polyurethane pieces not only gives me better support for the springs, but they'll last longer as well. No problem to get to, just drop the lower control arms, pull out the springs, then buckle it all up. Anytime you can replace the rubber items with polyurethane replacements, do it! When I couldn't find these at the local parts store, AM had them!
