How To Install a Replacement Fog Light –LH/RH on Your 1987-1993 Mustang GT

Removal Procedure: Looking from under the car behind the fog light you will see a 15mm nut and a connector that will need to be removed.


Step 1: Using your hands unplug the connector coming from the back of the fog light.


Step 2: Using the 15mm socket remove the nut holding the fog light in place.


Step 3: Once removed pull the fog light from its bezel in the front bumper.


Installation Procedure:


Step 1: Take your new fog light and feed the connector through the back of the fog light bezel in the bumper.


Step 2: Insert the new fog light lining up the fog light bolt to the mounting hole.


Step 3: Thread on the new 19mm nut onto the fog light stud. Do not fully tighten.


Step 4: once snug aim the fog light in your preferred direction.


Step 5: Once aimed fully tighten the nut.


Step 6: Connect the connector from the fog light to the corresponding plug.
