Racing Edge. The JMS LaunchMAX Splice In Digital Trans-Brake Kit for 6R80 Transmissions helps your 2011-2017 GT or V6 Mustang leave the starting line like a thunderbolt. This splice-in trans-brake unit, when combined with your choice of momentary switch (sold separately), gives you a strong edge in starting line RPM at the dragstrip, potentially propelling your 'Stang well into the 9-second zone. You can choose between ground or +12 volt activation. Since the LaunchMAX is all digital and contains no moving parts or relays, it achieves instantaneous trans-brake release times and is not engineered to raise the line pressure in your Mustang's transmission.

All Digital Design. This JMS trans-brake module is compact and completely digital, meaning that it has no moving parts inside to wear out over time or fail under stress or repeated use. The unit is completely waterproof to boost its longevity regardless of driving conditions. The LaunchMAX can be used with any custom tune ECU file and can be removed at any time if necessary without adversely affecting the car's function.

Splice-In Installation. The JMS LaunchMAX requires approximately one hour to splice into the system. It connects directly to the transmission harness, without opening or modifying the transmission itself. The kit includes a 7-foot wiring harness and instructions.
