Paying tribute to the 429 CobraJet Mach 1’s of old, the 2003 and 2004 Mustang Mach 1 was outfitted with Heritage Aluminum wheels, which look very similar to the Magnum 500 wheels that were equipped on the original Mach 1.

The Mach 1 Wheels were a five spoke wheel that were slightly wider at the edge of the rim, and thinner when they came together at the center of the wheel. In the center of the rim there is mounted a Bullitt, Tri-Bar pony center cap. Behind the center cap there is a circle that covers up the area where the wheel mounts against the rotor.

When purchasing the Mach 1, owners had an option to have either a silver or chrome 17x8” Heritage Aluminum wheel equipped from the manufacturer. Aftermarket manufacturers, however, have taken the 17x8” wheels and changed them to 17x9” and 17x10.5” rims in both chrome and silver, and even in a deep dish style.
