Faster Launches. Plant your Pony's rubber firmly to the road with a pair of Maximum Motorsports' rear lower control arms. Unlike other aftermarket control arms, Maximum Motorsport's arms feature a unique design to reduce axle windup. The result? Faster, straighter launches and lower 60 foot times.

Better Handling. The stock rubber control arm bushings can bind when you're cornering, causing your Mustang to suddenly and unpredictably lose traction. Maximum Motorsports uses a 3-part bushing at the chassis end of the arm that stays rigid under acceleration but allows for movement when cornering for maximum handling. On the axle end, they use a Teflon-lined spherical bearing for freedom of motion and to prevent chassis damage.

Made to Last. The Maximum Motorsports lower control arms feature a durable black powdercoat for a great-looking, long-lasting finish.

Application. These Maximum Motorsports lower control arms are designed to fit 1999 to 2004 Mustangs and are sold as a pair.

    Good for the street

I bought these for my 2004 Mustang GT. They improved the ability to plant the tires and go straight. They're plenty good for the street, on street tires. However, these are not sufficient for hard launching at the strip. I broke two bushings within 5 trips to the strip with my 265rwhp car running on Nitto 555R drag radials.

Very simple to install and you will notice a huge difference in the stiffness of your suspension. Plants the wheels to the ground and keeps your car in a straight line. You will need new hardware for the rear of the control arm. The bolts will be seized in stock control arms and have to be cut off. Buy them from ford or u will have a clicking in your suspension. At least mine had to just wanted to give a heads up so you arent stuck without bolts.

I bought these because my car needed new RLCA bushings, so with that being said there was a tremendous improvement. install was easy, but AM should edit there install guide. once i lowered the control arm the rear end rolled and i could not get the arm realigned. used a tow strap and a 2nd jack and took no time to correct. and the reason I'm giving 4 stars is because MM supplied me with 4 nuts (im assuming for the sway bar) but it really would have been nice if they through in new control arm nuts and bolts. overall im extremely happy though. i will continue to use AM and MM.
