The below installation instructions work for the following products:
Please read through the instructions carefully before starting this project. Take the time to get all the materials together as well as all the safety equipment.
Note #1:
You will need an assistant to help you with this project.
Note #2:
If you can access the rear of your lower grille from underneath your car without raising it, you should be able to complete this project; otherwise, you will have to lift the car.
Tools needed:
- Small Socket and Wrench Set
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Droplight or Other Portable Lighting Source (Optional)
- Jack and Jackstands (Optional)
Installation:
- If the car's setup prevents you from accessing the rear of the lower grille, use your preferred method for raising the front of your car to gain access.
- Remove the bolts that secure the belly pan to the car.
- Put the C-nuts over the J-hooks as shown.
- It may be easiest to pre-thread the hardware onto the screws.
- Turn the J-hooks to the inside of the grille (to allow for clearance) and center the grille on the car. Have your assistant hold it in place from the front.
- From the back, rotate a J-hook to secure it over the stock honeycomb or surround in a similar fashion to the one shown below.
- While you hold it in place, have your assistant tighten the bolt using a Phillips screwdriver.
- Repeat for the remaining hardware.
- Replace the belly pan.
- You're finished. Enjoy your new billet grille from Stack Racing.
