AmericanMuscle Installation Garage

AmericanMuscle Installation Garage
Here at American Muscle, we're all about DIY (do it yourself). Of course, there's nothing wrong with seeking out a little bit of tech help prior to taking on an installation on your own. Our Mustang installation guides will provide valuable instructions and hopefully answer any how-to questions that you may have along the way.

The Mustang Painted Strut Tower Covers for the new 2005+ S197 Mustang are a simple and easy way to add some extra style under the hood of your new pony. The installation of the Mustang Painted Strut Tower Covers are a big "easy" on the difficulty meter.

The following is only a brief overview of the instructions, please download and read the attached PDF file for the complete installation instructions.

Unpack the Strut Tower covers and confirm you have one Passenger side and one Drivers side Strut Tower cover. The underside of the covers will be marked with a "P" for Passenger side or a "D" for Driver side. Place the covers on the top of the strut tower by aligning the fingers of the underside to the center hole of the in the shock tower. Be sure the notched portion of the cover is facing towards the fender. Once aligned the covers should snap in place with a good push.
But be sure to read the below instructions thoroughly before beginning.

Download the Adobe PDF file at the lower right for complete installation instructions.

Please read through the instructions carefully before starting this project.  Take the time to get all the materials together as well as all the safety equipment.

  3. Snap the covers in place by lining the fingers on the underside of the cover up with the center hold in the shock tower. Make sure the notched portion of the cover is facing towards the fender. The covers need a pretty good push or rap for the fingers to seat in place.
