How to Install Pre-Painted MMD Quarter Window Scoops on your 1999-2004 Mustang

Use one of the supplied alcohol prep pads to thoroughly wipe down the area of the louver where the insert will be applied.

Peel the backing from the adhesive tape and place the insert into the louver opening as shown. Once properly aligned, press down firmly to fully seat the adhesive tape.

Wipe down the 5 tape ledges on the rear of the louver with the supplied alcohol pads, followed by the included 3M Adhesion Promoter pads.

Let the Adhesion Promoter set up for 30-60 seconds, then apply the adhesive tape as shown.

Thoroughly wipe the area of the quarter
window where the louver will attach with the supplied alcohol pad.

Peel the backing from the adhesive tape and place the louver over the quarter window. First, line up the bottom edge of the louver with the window ledge as shown.

Then, line up the front edge of the louver with the door opening molding. Once the louver is in the proper position, press down firmly to fully seat the adhesive tape.

Repeat Steps 1-6 for opposite side louver to complete the installation.
