Description
High Performance Street and Strip Upgrade. If you need a dual purpose street strip clutch that can stand up to the heat of the dragstrip and hold up to 550 HP with superior street drivability the RAM Powergrip Clutch is your answer. The Powergrip Clutch will give you quick, precise engagement and fast shifts. But unlike other single purpose race-use only clutches, it balances your need for the engagement characteristics of aggressive, Stage 2 and 3 clutches with a more forgiving street-type clutch. Combines 900 and 300 Series Discs. In order to provide superior holding power without sacrificing street manners, RAM Powergrip clutches use a high clamp load and a unique combination of their 900 and 300 series organic materials for the disc.

Application. This Ram Powergrip Mustang Clutch is designed for the 1996-Mid 2001 GT, 1993-1998 Cobra, and 1986-1995 5.0L Mustangs with the T-5 or T-45 transmission that have upgraded to a 26 spline input shaft. Use only with RAM billet steel or factory nodular iron (explosion resistant) flywheels. Please note that some chatter may occur on takeoff.

I HAVE HAD MANY STANGS STILL HAVE A FEW...BUT THIS CLUTCH IS THE BEST I EVER HAD OR USED IN MY YEARS MY 1ST STANG WAS 87 GT BOUCHGT NEW STILL HAVE. NUFF SAID..CLUTCH SPEAKES FOR ITS SELF
