    Review & Install Video

Dave with AmericanMuscle.com, and with me today I have a few interior dress up items, fitting all 05-09 Mustangs. I have the seat release lever, the seat tilt lever cover, and I have the seat adjuster cover, available both in either a chrome or a satin finish. When you’re looking to dress up the interior of your Mustang, one thing you certainly don’t want to leave exposed are the boring, plastic factory levers, well that’s where these come in, made from Billet aluminum, and available in either a classy satin, or the popular bright chrome finish, these pieces are going to be a simple and inexpensive way to dress up what Ford gave you. Now yes, they’re available separately, but for the true look, buy them all together. Installation should only take you 5 minutes. When it comes to the seat release lever, simply grab the factory one and pull firmly, you’ll then go ahead and slip the aftermarket one on in the same location. As far as the seat adjuster and seat tilt lever covers installation is even easier, simply peel off the 3M tape already installed and slip it on over top the factory lever. Each piece is sold with a driver and passenger side for a quick installation. Whether you’re buying them together or separately, the seat release lever, the seat tilt lever, and the seat adjuster lever covers available in chrome or satin are a great addition to any 05-09 Mustangs interior.

      Building s race car

I thought it was funny that such a big box contained my small levers. However, more protection right? These levers were so beautiful that I thought I was finally building my dream mustang. Now, my car did not come with the original levers to compare the new ones to, but who cares these are my own original levers (or at least my take on it). They have an appearance of feeling heavy but are actually quite light, and the chrome polish was not to overwelming: because I originally wanted the satin version. Furthermore, it provides a seemless flow of an added accent to the Mustang's bland interior. In contrast, I have not installed them yet, but after inspecting them Carefully upon arrival, they would have provided an excellent forge of elegance and functionality. For those who care to know why I have not installed them yet: it is because of a small accident that left my, brand new to me, 3 valve malfunctioning with a horrible knocking coming from the engine. So, until my insurance covers it or until I become a millionaire I will be with out my first mustang, my first choice in A potential race car, the only car I have ever named, my firebolt.

      Seat Release Upgrade

First time grandkids tried to use stock levers they broke part and I could not release seat had to use a screw driver. GT dealer wanted $36 each for replacement so these seemed to be a better deal and quality. Very easy to install they fit tight and right. I read other people had problems with the new releases being loose and coming off. I did not have this problem and they passed the grandkids test. A little pricey for just a better look but a good deal if new ones are needed.

      Nice

Wasn't sure how this would look but it really dresses up the interior. I bought because plastic factory piece broke. Very easy to install.

      Alright

I bought these they are alright but I have one that doesn't like to stay on so I am going to have to glue it or something but other than that I love them.

      Top Knobs!!

These fit perfectly and are a big upgrade to the plastic Ford originally installed. Also cheaper than the $65 that Ford wanted for the plastic ones!

      easy fix

took a small socket and a center punch and put a small dimple that would locate in the hole on the seat part and now it will not come off even without glue. manufacturer would be advised that this is an easy fix and it is still removable if need be

      Handles fall off

They look decent, but the handles fall off almost every time I use them. Will require glue or adhesive.

      works great

Like everyone else, one of my levers on my 06 broke right away. Seemed smarter to buy this than another of the same thing from F0rd. Pressed on in a second and looks awesome. Real metal also, not cheap plastic.

      great replcement

i purchased these seat release levers for my 2006 mustang after the factory ones broke. i decided to go to my local ford dealer for replacements and they told me the cost of the replacements would $30.00 a piece for ford factory ones so if you are looking to replace your factory levers you have nothing to lose. the lever them selves are a definate up from the factory levers they are heavy and durable and add that extra touch of glimmer to the back of your seats thanks am for another great product.

      more info needed

Ford should go to this type of product , the stock ones are made of plastic and break too easy . The broken one it was replacing was easy to put on but it later fell off . The stock ones have a clip inside them and that's looks what's needed to keep these in place . Since there were not a piece of any instructions in the box I'm having to get help from body techs at my work on how to take off the factory lever without breaking it . Just saying with a little piece of paper with a little bit of instructions this product would get all 5 stars from me on my review .
