Installation

Installation Instructions:

1. The first step in installing your new Raxiom Smoked Halo Fog lights is to remove the radiator shroud by first taking out the push style clips, (6) in total.

2. Next you need to remove the grill section. Unplug the two plugs for the fog lights. There are (2) clips on both sides and (4) on the bottom. The clips are meant to be pushed in to snap in place, so a simple flat head screwdriver to push the clips out will suffice. The bottom ones should come undone will an upward pull.

3. Next the front fender wells should be removed. There are 3 screws on the bumper and a few pushpin clips that hold it in place. I got away with just taking the screws out and pulling the fender well back though.

4. Inside the bumper close to the fender wells should be 2 bolts on either side above the blinker lights that have to be removed.

5. Under the hood there should be two more bolts (10mm) to remove that hold the top of the bumper on.

6. This should allow the bumper to come off, which exposes the parking light/ blinker light wires.

7. Next unscrew your old fog lights, your new fog lights should be installed into the grill, paying attention to which side is right and left.

8. The fog lights will have a converter box on the wires that operate the halos. I chose to mount these boxes on the radiator mount (could use any hidden, flat surface) with the 3M tape that is provided. Be sure to clean the area before trying to stick them on or the 3M will not stick.

9. The Halos have to be wired to the parking lights so they will come on when the parking lights do. The parking lights should be on the outside section of the amber colored blinker lights, but to make sure, turn your parking lights on, and find which bulb is it. The bulb’s plug-in should only have 2 wires.

10. On my car the driver side had a black wire (negative) and a red wire (positive). The passenger side however had two black wires, so you should use a tester to find the “hot” wire.

11. The positive (red) and negative (black) wires on the Halos should be spliced into the corresponding wires on the parking lights. Test the Halos before you put everything back together.

12. Its easiest to set the grill assembly with your new fog lights onto the radiator area so that you can put the bumper back on.

13. Once the bumper is back on and everything is bolted back into place, push the grill squarely in place and connect the fog lights to the existing, factory, quick connects.

14. Aim you fog lights.

15. Next put your radiator shroud back on using the 6 pushpin style clips.

Enjoy your new Raxiom Smoked Halo Fog Lights!
