HOW TO INSTALL YOUR BOV

Step 1: Remove the engine cover by removing both nuts and bolts securing the engine covering in place.

Step 2: Locate the PVC connection at the back of the throttle body.  When facing the vehichle, the PVC connection is on the right hand side of the engine behind the throttle body.

Step 3: Install the included plug on the unused port of the boost reference adapter. Apply thread sealant on threads.

Step 4: Install two vacuum/boost nipples as shown. Apply thread sealant on threads

Step 5: Unclip factory PVC connection from port located behind the throttle body.

Step 6: Cut and remove OEM line as shown.

Step 7: Slide the boost reference adapter onto the OEM port as shown. Twist adapter back and forth while pressing down as there will be some resistance due to the internal o-ring.

Step 8: Install the retaining clip provided to secure the boost reference adapter in position.

Step 9: Once installed, the boost reference adapter should look as shown. Vacuum hoses can now be connected.

Step 10: Install BOV reference hose to nipple and secure with spring clamp.

Step 11: Install 1/4" ID reinforced hose to second nipple and secure with hose clamp. Point hose in the direction of PVC check valve.

Step 12: Install the other end of 1/4' reinforced hose over barbed end of PVC check valve as shown. No clamp is needed.

Step 13: Once installed, the boost reference adapter and hose should look as shown.

Step 14: Locate the factory BOV and unplug the solenoid plug.

Step 15: Remove the three M6 bolts that are securing the BOV flange on. Once you remove the M6 bolts, remove the factory BOV.

Step 16: Install your new Turbosmart BOV. Align the mounting holes with the flange. As can be seen in the image, the plumb back port of the blow off valve should be facing the plumb back pipe. Holes are not evenly spaced. The BOV will only be installed one way. Do not force in, damage will result.

Step 17: Use the OEM bolts to secure the BOV on.

Step 18: Connect the vacuum hose to the nipple. Secure the hose with the hose clamp. Note: This is the same vacuum hose that connected to the MAP adapter in step 10.

Step 19: Install provided electronic plug onto OEM solenoid as shown. Secure with cable ties.

Step 20: Reinstall the engine cover. Vehicle is ready to start. Check for leaks. Consult adjusting your BOV section for tuning.
