BEFORE ATTEMPTING INSTALLATION OF THIS KIT, THOROUGHLY READ SECTION 14 OF FORD CAR SHOP MANUAL OR AN EQUIVALENT AFTERMARKET MANUAL AND FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES FOR SPRING REPLACEMENT. COMPRESSED SPRINGS STORE A GREAT DEAL OF ENERGY WHICH CAN BE V IOLENTLY RELEASED IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL.
THIS KIT IS DESIGNED TO LOWER YOUR V8 MUSTANG/CAPRI-APPROXIMATELY 3/4" (NOTE: 6 CYLINDER AND 4 CYLINDER MODELS SLIGHTLY LESS). THIS MAY NOT BE READILY APPARENT IMMEDIATELY AFTER INSTALLATION SINCE SPRINGS OFTEN REQUIRE SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES OF DRIVING TO 'TAKE A SET'.
ALWAYS TORQUE CONTROL ARMS TO SPEC WITH THE SUSPENSION AT THE NORMAL RIDE HEIGHT AnITUDE, OTHERWISE YOU PRE-LOAD THE BUSHINGS AND BUILD IN AN ARTIFICIAL INCREASE IN SPRING RATE.
