Great for Daily Drivers. The Exedy Mach 350 Stage 1 clutch combines an organic compound disc with a high clamp pressure plate that delivers superior durability with stock-like driveability. The Exedy Mach 350 Stage 1 clutch is the perfect clutch for the street-driven, mildly modded, daily driven Mustang. Exedy's 350 clutch firms up your pedal for a sporty feel without the on-off characteristics of a true race clutch and is good to 430 ft-lbs of torque at the flywheel.

Premium Quality. The Exedy Mach 350 Stage 1 clutch is designed to offer the durability of an upgraded performance clutch with the main focus on keeping the great street driveability of a stock unit. All of Exedy's discs feature spring center dampers to reduce drivetrain shock.

Application. This Exedy Mach 350 Stage 1 Clutch is designed for the Late 2001-2004 GT, 1999-2004 Cobra, 2001 Bullitt, and 2003-2004 Mach 1 with the T-45, TR-3650, or T-56 transmission with a 10 spline input shaft.

  • It will work, make sure to get the flywheel resurfaced. I replaced a clutch before without resurfacing the flywheel and had problems after a while with the clutch smoothly engaging. The only way that it wouldn't work is if your flywheel is damaged beyond repair. A shop that does resurfacing will be able to tell you this. The good thing about this clutch is that it feels very similar to the stock one which is perfect for a daily driver.

    Great replacement for day le drive

    Just got done putting in this clutch, every thing fits perfect on my 04 GT. Clutch in not stiff, great for those who get in to traffic. No chatter what so ever ( remember when doing a clutch your self do not just slap it in... get your fly wheel resurfes or get a new one.) Also i would get the ford racing throw-out and pilot baring.. well worth the extra money. Clutch grips good. Would recommend this for a DD

    Pros and Cons

    Pros: 1. Great Bite 2. Clear and accurate instructions 3. No Chatter 4. Thick friction plate makes me think it will last a long time Cons: 1.VERY poor quality bearings 2. TOB failed backing out of the garage 3. Neither AM nor Exedy will warranty bearings unless done by a "qualified shop" DO NOT USE THE BEARINGS INCLUDED IN THIS KIT. SPEND THE EXTRA $40 FOR A "FORD RACING" TOB!!!!! OR YOU WILL BE DOING IT TWICE!!!!

    great clutch for the money

    I have an 02 gt and just installed this clutch kit. everything fit great. i did however go with the ford racing throw out bearing and pilot bearing. the kits tob looked like the ford one but i didnt want to risk it. anyways it is smooth and has an easy pedal feel. i would recommend this product.

    Feels Like Stock

    It has been 500 miles and its as smooth as can be. I have a mildly modified 2004 GT. This is perfect for going from 55 to 85 on the highway. Down shift and go. The price is cheaper than any shop around. Highly recommend. The bite is instant at first but after 500 miles it will be just as sweet as can be. AL

    Amazing clutch!

    I paired this clutch with a Ram billet steal flywheel and man its sooo much better than my old stock setup! The pedal is a lot lighter now, it takes less effort to change gears, and is easier to launch at the dragstrip now improving my 60ft times! Compared to the old clutches heavy feel and unpredictable release points. I would definitely recommend this clutch to all my friends if they need a new clutch for their Mustang! I also bought a Ford Racing throw out bearing, bought a new pilot bearing, clutch fork and pivot stud. I highly recommend that you get these parts as well when you do your clutch swap!

    Exedy Mach 350 Stage 1 Clutch

    This Exedy Stage 1 Clutch was a huge improvement over my old clutch. The old clutch had degraded slowly so I hadn't noticed it so much until this was installed. I gave it 4 stars as the only drawback is that there is a definite odor as this clutch is being worn-in. After 500 miles it's still there but starting to subside.

    Clutch was great, throwout bearing is no good

    After putting on 5,00 miles on this clutch kit, I can tell you that the clutch petal feels great. The mechanic said the parts fit well. The connection or bite is solid and great for a daily driver. The throw-out bearing is worthless! It started getting noisy after a couple thousand miles. Now at 5,000 miles it is so loud we have to replace it. I am putting in the ford racing throw-out bearing this time.
