How to Install Ford Racing BOSS 302 Coil Covers on your 2011-2013 Mustang GT

IN THE BOX:


• 1x Driver Side Coil Cover
• 1x Passenger Side Coil Cover


TOOLS NEEDED:


• Flathead Screwdriver (Optional)


TIME TO INSTALL:


• 5 Minutes


INSTALLATION:


1. Make sure that the engine bay is cool, and the engine been shutoff for at least 15 minutes before starting. Parts surrounding the Coil Covers may be very hot.


2. Unscrew & remove the Oil Cap on the passenger side of the vehicle.


3. Remove the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube (PCV Tube). At the base of the tube, you will find a gray ring with a small release pin on it. To remove, simply slide the release pin along the side of the tube, and pull the PCV Tube towards you. Use the screwdriver to gently slide the pin if your fingers cannot reach.


4. Remove the stock Coil Cover by gently unsnapping it from the mounting points.


5. Slide the correct Boss 302 Coil Cover into position, and press firmly to snap it into place.


6. Replace the Oil Cap, and snap the PCV Tube into the receiver.


7. Move to the driver’s side of the vehicle and remove the PCV Tube in the same manner as in Step 3.


8. Remove the stock Coil Cover by gently unsnapping it from the mounting points.


9. Slide the correct Boss 302 Coil Cover into position, and press firmly to lock it into place – replace the PCV Tube.


10.Stand back, admire your work, and review the product!
