Improves Handling Performance. Upgrade the suspension of your SN95/New Edge Mustang with Koni Sport Rear Shocks for improved handling and performance. Sport Yellow Shocks are Koni's top-of-line performance shocks designed to be direct fit replacements for your factory units and are the ideal match for performance lowering springs and sway bars.

Adjustable. The adjustable option of Koni's Sport shock allows you to adjust compression and rebound with just a twist of a knob. Turn the knob clockwise and soften the dampening, counter clockwise stiffens the dampening.

Quality Construction. Koni's Sport Series rear shock features a gas pressurized twin-tube design with a larger-diameter piston for optimum street performance. This shock is completed in a classic yellow finish with the world-famous KONI logo.

Application. This Koni Sport Adjustable Rear Shock is specifically designed for use on 1994 to 2004 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and 1994 to 1998 SVT Cobra. Does not fit the 1999 to 2004 SVT Cobra models with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). Sold individually.

They seem to be nice shocks as of now but have only had them on for 2 weeks. They could be a little easier to adjust if they had settings instead of just turning the nob.

    Koni adjustable shocks

Performs well under all conditions. Plants the car to the pavement when cornering. Off ramps of I-10 are a breeze at 80 mph. Great product when coupled with front adjustable struts. The stiffness is palpable considering road conditions under strongest firmness. Works great with Eibach sport springs. Don't forget those caster and camber plates! Installed on 2000 Ford Mustang Convertible.

    Doesnt get any better

Installed on my 02 v6 and it is seriously a game changer. Before I had just the eibach 2 in lowering springs, but now with these adjustable shocks my car handles and corners way better than before! Ex: a local road of mine I used to take at 45 and was pushing it, last night took it at 55 with no problem car stayed planted to the ground. And the Adjustability is excellent since I drive it like I stole it, the stiffness doesn't bother me even at the stiffest setting, that's how racecars are supposed to feel.

    Autocross heaven!

I bought the adjustable Koni's to enhance my handling at the autocross events I enter when I'm not showing the car. I keep them on the soft setting except for the times I autocross and at the course it takes about two minutes to convert the shocks and struts to firm and all I have to do is raise the hood and trunk lid. No getting dirty or lying on my back on the asphalt. The handling goes from streetable to an absolute corner carver. Greatest handling bang for the buck you can get put on your Mustang. Great price and great product!

    Good upgrade

I switched from saleen race craft shocks to these & it has definitely stiffened the rear of the car up. I am no longer having issues with my fenders cutting into my tire but I still maintain a good daily driver, it's not too stiff

    Great Buy!!

I have a 1994 Mustang Cobra. I bought these shocks because I know Koni is one of the best brands for shocks. When I purchased the adjustable rear shocks and had them installed (I still had the original factory shocks installed in the rear..lol) what a difference it made! I was not disappointed! I have KYB AGX adjustables up front (I have had them there for a few years, as I never got around to changing the rears) and they make a good combo! Car drives great :)

    Great on lowered cars

These work great especially with a lowered car. You get to adjust it to be able to get the stiffness you want.

    Great Shock....Mounting Kit Not Suitable

The shock performance is excellent. The grommet kit for mounting did not work for my '98 Convertible. (Coupes may be different). a. The supplied moldings, when used as directed, do not leave enough of the rod threads accessible for the nut to be started. b. The piston rod diameter is larger than stock, so the stock mounting hardware cannot be re-used without drilling out the existing swivel-nut to reuse the one-piece cap-molding. Normally, this simple rear-shock install could be done in an hour or less.

I bought a used Mustang that had KONIs on the front but stock shocks on the rear. Let's just say it handles WAY different with fresh matching shocks on the rear! Lol!
