My only problem was the lack of instructions though it is simple to install just like the assurance I did it correctly. Also the paint on the inside of the bottom bracket caused it to be a bit too narrow to fit and had to be widened. Made it work though! Good quality proucts.

        No complaints

Mixed these with tubular control arms, Ford Racing lowering springs, CC plates, and isolators. Couldn't be happier. It's winter now so haven't had a chance to play with the adjustability too much yet. Handling is x1000 better with this cheap setup. Scratched the paint a little when tightening the castle nut for the ball joint :/ tight fit.

        As good as you’ll get

Easy to fit and made a huge difference, once you dial in your firmness your good for years, would recommend fitting springs at same time.

        2001 Mustang GT

I live in San Diego, CA and the roads are horrible. These struts are great for rough roads and having a lowered stang. Handles great!

4 2003 GT - Karl Installation Time: Afternoon

        Affordable handling

I combined these struts with lowering springs and was amazed at how much smoother the ride was. Even at 140MPH I had control of the car without it tying to get away from me. I recommend getting a strut tower base as well, it will make handling so much better.

        5 1999 GT - Silver1999GT Installation Time: Afternoon

        Highly recommended!

Long-term review -- after ~40k miles on an SN95 GT these are still unbeatable! Paired with MM progressive Cobra-like springs (front progressive, 650-750 lb/in, slightly higher rate than the Ford "c" springs and rear progressive 230-290lbs/in) Good firm street ride, and the ability to adjust these is key to dialing in the ride to the correct level of rebound damping. Excellent handling, well balanced, predictable and consistent performance. These keep the wide 275 NT555s firmly on the road. Great quality, and highly recommended for both the street and the track!

        5 2001 Cobra - RoyCobra180 Installation Time: Afternoon

A mustang that actually handles well!!

I lowered the car and wanted to install some adjustable sturts with it but when it came time to install them they were too tight where it mounts on the steering knuckle but ride great now.

Shocks and Struts are great, but...

I replaced the OEM Tokicos on my 66,000 mile 04 Mach 1 with these Koni single adjustable shocks and struts in December 2016. The hardware itself is great - what you would expect from a company like Koni. What I didn't expect was an issue with the torque specs in their "instructions"...which are little scraps of paper. I don't really need much in the way of guidance for a shock and strut RNR but, #1. Print your instructions on something a little thicker than tissue paper, and #2. The specified 59 ft-lbs (for the top nut) is too much. At 59 I couldn't adjust one of the struts so I ordered a replacement, installed it, torqued to 59, and again it wouldn't adjust. (I made sure to test this new strut, spinning the adjuster a bit before installing). Finally I asked the shop to loosen it completely, then go to 20 ft-lbs and try to adjust it, then 40, and try, and they ended up at about 49 ft-lbs and it works. Then they brought the other strut down to 49 as well (before it ceases to adjust). So folks, I love the shocks and struts but the specs could use some tweaking.
