Improves Handling Performance. Upgrade the suspension of your SN95/New Edge Mustang with Koni Sport Rear Shocks for improved handling and performance. Sport Yellow Shocks are Koni's top-of-line performance shocks designed to be direct fit replacements for your factory units and are the ideal match for performance lowering springs and sway bars.

Adjustable. The adjustable option of Koni's Sport shock allows you to adjust compression and rebound with just a twist of a knob. Turn the knob clockwise and soften the dampening, counter clockwise stiffens the dampening.

Quality Construction. Koni's Sport Series rear shock features a gas pressurized twin-tube design with a larger-diameter piston for optimum street performance. This shock is completed in a classic yellow finish with the world-famous KONI logo.

Application. This Koni Sport Adjustable Rear Shock is specifically designed for use on 1994 to 2004 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and 1994 to 1998 SVT Cobra. Does not fit the 1999 to 2004 SVT Cobra models with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). Sold individually.

        Save up and get these!!!

Great shock and installs very easy. Have it half a turn from full soft and it rides smooth. Cant wait to install the struts and tune everything together to feel how well these koni shocks and struts handle turns.

5 1995 GT - CodyK Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Great improvement over SR performance

I recently bought a 95 GT, which already had some cheaper upgrades. This is a night and day upgrade over the SR performance adjustable. Would buy again! REALLY easy install - just follow the AM instructional videos

        5 1999 GT - Silver1999GT Installation Time: Afternoon

        Highly recommended!

Long-term review -- after ~40k miles on an SN95 GT these are still unbeatable! Paired with MM progressive Cobra-like springs (front progressive, 650-750 lb/in, slightly higher rate than the Ford "c" springs and rear progressive 230-290lbs/in) Good firm street ride, and the ability to adjust these is key to dialing in the ride to the correct level of rebound damping. Excellent handling, well balanced, predictable and consistent performance. These keep the wide 275 NT555s firmly on the road. Great quality, and highly recommended for both the street and the track!

5 1995 GT - ConnerM Installation Time: Full Day

        Yellow ftw

I LOVE these shocks. I know they are technically not designed for drag racing but they just squat and go. Super couschy and a fantastic purchase! 100 worth the money.

        4 1998 Cobra - 32V98 Installation Time: Afternoon

        Great Shock....Mounting Kit Not Suitable

The shock performance is excellent. The grommet kit for mounting did not work for my '98 Convertible. (Coupes may be different). a. The supplied moldings, when used as directed, do not leave enough of the rod threads accessible for the nut to be started. b. The piston rod diameter is larger than stock, so the stock mounting hardware cannot be re-used without drilling out the existing swivel-nut to reuse the one-piece cap-molding. Normally, this simple rear-shock install could be done in an hour or less.

        Keepin it rollin!

I bought a used Mustang that had KONIs on the front but stock shocks on the rear. Let's just say it handles WAY different with fresh matching shocks on the rear! Lol!

        5 2000 V6 - JonZ

        Koni adjustable shocks

Performs well under all conditions. Plants the car to the pavement when cornering. Off ramps of I-10 are a breeze at 80 mph. Great product when coupled with front adjustable struts. The stiffness is palpable considering road conditions under strongest firmness. Works great with Eibach sport springs. Don't forget those caster and camber plates! Installed on 2000 Ford Mustang Convertible.

      1 Top Rated Question

I have KONI STR.T but they are a bit bouncy for where I drive possibly also due to the lowering springs. Will these be more comfortable when on a softer setting?
