    Great Struts

    October 14, 2010

These shocks are great. I have them setup with the Ford racing K springs which were also purchased from American Muscle. They ride pretty smooth handle great. I recommend a professional should install them.

    consider other options

    December 07, 2011

installed on an otherwise stock convertible, with 89K miles. replacing the OEM shocks, I guess I was expecting more, given the price difference from, let's say, the KYB GR-2's. ride is firmer, without being harsh. if you want a "middle of the road" item, this might be the way to go... I like American Muscle, but if I had to do it over again, I'd do more research (for other manufacturers, than what A.M. offers)

    Ride quality is not good

    December 07, 2011

I have a 2007 mustang Convertible. It is a CS GT. I ordered Tokico shocks and struts for it from American Muscle. Great service! as usual. My complaint is that the shocks were installed and the car rode like a "log wagon". The information in the specs indicated that the shocks would have unbeatable ride quality.. Not even close to the original shock. The car has only 33,000 miles on it. I have 5 mustangs at the present time and have rebuilt a few mustangs in my time. I am 70 years old. I have now removed the Tokico shocks and installed original equipment shocks on the car. The ride improved 100%

    GOOD RIDE GOOD PRICE

    March 02, 2014

Great product for the price got these on sale!, better than stock by far, firmer shock with less squat i love it, my back feels great!. car can take the hits and the corners better . Tokico hp is good stuff not mind blowing but good stuff, simple installation, anyone who can use a wrench and knows how to jack up a car can fly through this, so good luck n' get'r done (+) just a tip for future installers use (Vise pliers & ratchet+wrench) Save your body and time.

    Firm but not harsh.

    August 10, 2013

I had installed the Tokico HP front struts and was very pleased. They made me notice how bouncy the back of the car was, the Tokico HP shocks firmed up the ride without making it too harsh. I'm very pleased....under control again.
