    Great ride.

Replaced some aging Koni shocks to smooth my ride back out a little bit. Great replacement for the money!

A major upgrade, a definte better buy than some.

I was needing to change out my stock shocks so I decided to go as cheap as I could with what I thought was still a good upgrade. I bought the koni st's..... Bad ideal.... Car was lowered from factory.... The koni's were way to soft, ended up causing my car to frame off every bump... Ate my fender well up plus my new tires. Out of necessity, I weighed many options and purchased these, as many told me they were about the best for the lower price to many that were available. I also had to get a panhard bar to realign my rear axle and I raised the rear end 1/4 inch to make sure my over sized tires wouldn't rub anymore. The ride and stiffness in the rear is a major difference and much better. Bilstein was a definite better buy. If money is tight but you need to make sure you get good quality, go with Bilstein. I'll never buy koni again.

After coming from the koni yellows and hearing so much about how they can't last, I was nervous about another "lifetime brand" (I don't want to put struts on every 6 months, even if it's covered). Not only do these work, but they last. If you're trying to decide, get the Billies; definitely no regrets.

    Great shocks

I really can tell a difference how much the rear axle used to jump around after installing seems to move as a single unit now.great buy.

Bilstein HD Shocks in a 2012 GT

I had heard nothing but good things about Bilstein when it comes to shocks and struts so I decided that instead of putting OEM shocks back in my Mustang that i would upgrade a bit to the Bilstein HD Series. Install was super easy, had to drop my rear sway bar to get good access to the bottom bolt holding the shock in, but once that was out of the way, it took be no longer than 30 mins to get both shocks in and everything buttoned up. I was almost expecting the Bilstein to feel a little stiffer than OEM shocks but i was suprised to feel no difference in the performance of the shock compared to factory. Definitely a good shock if you're looking for something comparable to, but better than, OEM. Not to mention the Lifetime Warrantee!

    Smooth ride

Found that these shocks stopped a lot of the bunny hopping that was happening. I usually only ride this car on the track but it still handles better during takeoff and helps with traction.

Not what I was expecting but overall a nice better than OEM option

Paired the shocks with some FRPP "P" spring. Lowers car 1.00". Ride is somewhat harsh over small bumps and ripples in the road. No problem on larger ones and dips. So, the OEM shocks are actually a bit "plusher". The shocks really shine on turns though! The car feels very stable going in and coming out of turns. Overall, it's nice find for improved performance but may be a bit too much if you're looking for a nice comfortable ride.

    Bilstein Rear Shock

I wanted to keep my stock height and decided to spend a little extra and go with higher end shocks. They have really firmed up the ride and the rear feels more planted to the ground. You do feel the road more but you get used to it. Great product, install was straight forward.

    Improved handling, and dig.

Bilstein shocks on the rear of my supercharged 2011 Mustang 5.0 was well worth the money over the stockers. Its hooks better, and doesn't bottom as easily with weight in the back. The price through American Muscle was 1/2 what my local tire shop wanted. Great product, thanks American Muscle.

    Bilstein shock

I'm happy with these shocks. Much better ride than my stock. Can't tell much of a differences over the bumps but firmed handling. My first order was screwed up on me due to missing hardwares on both of my shocks. Second order was also a missing shock cover nut on one of them but I was able to modified by putting in a plat washer and super glued in place so my dust cover shock stayed in place with the c-clip. Other than that it's all good.

    Better than stock!

I needed to replace the worn stock shocks and was looking for something to give me better handling and stability. These shocks did the trick. My first test drive after the simple installation of these shocks proved that the live rear axle can be tamed. I immediately noticed less travel and lateral movement when driving over less than desirable patches of asphalt. I would recommend these shocks to anyone who wants better than stock!

I installed a set of these on my 2008 Shelby GT500. Handling is way better now than it was before. Going over bumps on the highway doesn't make it jump all over anymore. I highly recommend them. Side notes: - Make sure to have the proper star driver for the top of the shock for installation and removal of the old ones. - If possible, try to get a star driver socket so you can use a torque wrench to tighten tot he proper ft/lbs.
